The utter destruction of the LA FIRES!...at this time, 5 are the dominant ones...unchecked...for those unaware of the Santa Ana winds...they are uncontrollable...gusts that seemingly come from no where...the origin of the blazes?...to be determined...quite often pegged at the electric grid...which is why the power companies turn off the electricity...I sense, too, that they are set by arsonists...the results are devastating...as you have been watching all over the news sources...

Losing a mobile phone, seems like losing your life...in reality, the home...really is...all your possessions, your history, your being...it's gone...many have no insurance...it's true...imagine...some just lost theirs in the new year...cost saving for the insurances...

And...it continues on this morning...still...for sure this is APOCALYPTIC!...

These winds are surreal...as I was golfing yesterday out at Singing Hills...we were being thrown about by the Santa Anas...miserable time to be hacking away...so, I quit after 9....we are very fortunate...right now...no fires down here...odd sensation, as it was 72*...and sunny...

A perfect example of two regimes passing in the night...well, in a couple of weeks...Prez B was in LA to see what was really happening, pledging support from the Feds...Prez elect trump, was on the tele, placing blame on people...get ready for the transition, kids...

Have yet to hear what SCOTUS is going to do with the 34 counts that trump is to be sentenced for, scheduled for tomorrow...are they in session?...do they have a session?...you see, I am getting to the point, that I don't trust the highest court in the land...maybe I am already there...

Football...the final 4...starts tonight...Notre Dame vs Penn St...in the Orange Bowl...silly act of naming a bowl game for the semis...stupid...I got the Irish...oh yea, for some, this is a travesty...it is carried on ESPN...4:30 kickoff, Pacific time...

Hoops...good thing the Golden St Warriors are out of town...as their downward trend is riling up their once raucous crowd...NOW, they are getting the BOO BIRDS...they are in Detroit...doesn't take much to have the aura slip away...well, it is called losing...

Oh Canada...the one I didn't mention yesterday....kind of awaiting the changing of the guard there...but, let's do a tickler...the new possible leader is a woman....and she hates the trump...so, assuming that he does carry out his threat of a tariff on them...she has alluded to stopping the flow of energy that we get from them...oh sweet Jesus, what have you done now, orange?...

Finally, the one left...yes, it is true, kids...this is the one that still has their tree up here in the hood...1/9/25...

Good morning all, from the great state of Oregon...this whole trip is about FRIENDS!...meeting up with peops we have been with over our years in the PNW...and for Boss's reunion....the opening act was a combo party of the two at this pad, a bar, called Johnny's...simply said, it was fun... The stories were there, the faces remained the same...and it tickled moi, that so many FRIENDS showed up...unfortunately, I did not get enough time to talk to all, please forgive me...when you go back some 60 years, my memory does fade a tad...well, and so does their's...ha ha...believe me, it was worth the trip... When the thesaurus ran it's new version...it highlighted the word 'oration'...and there it was ... President Barack Obama...and then there is more..... see...Michelle Obama ...these two have the fundamental prowess of giving speeches...at the right time...at the right place... No better example of this, than last night at the DNC...each were marvelous...of course ...it's what people, special people, like these two...do...carry a message across the Nation...that we all can not only understand, but agree with... For seemingly years, the Horse has said...that if Michelle O wanted to be in the White House, AGAIN...this time as the President, and not the wife...she could ...however, for right now...she is supporting the right choice...for this time of the history of our country.... Tonight, we hear another exceptional orator...President Bill Clinton ...it's almost like taking a class in college...Speech 101...BTW, I was turrible at it...just in case you were wondering......
