Acclimation

Good morning all, from the great state of Orygun...it is downright cold...like beneath 32*... way beneath...as we ventured into Sunriver’s Starbucks yesterday, adorned with my UO beanie, the very first dude who passed me by...had a Padre cap on!...geez, where am I?...he must’ve been on vacay, as everyone here, and local, wears beanies...+everywhere we went, I was the only one wearing a Duck beanie....what’s that all about?...

Much thanks to our gracious hosts, them Gahrs...for even lending their SUV for us to explore about...BTW, everyone here in the Bend area has a SUV...even the homeless...

Had to see the lodge at Sunriver...hey, the Deschutes River was frozen...good thing we brought warm clothing...and gloves...really interesting, is that you see a lot of smiling faces...perhaps frozen, but still smiling...

This is a short trip for us...as we exit in just a few days...you know, before we start smelling...

The NFL semis today...I have them both tossups...kind of think the home teams win, but really JCC...like all 4 of them...

trump...his voice grates on me...the worst orator in the history of our presidents...so... I just read about his statements...will turn his fat arse off whenever he starts to babble on...+every time the Senate votes for one of his cabinet nominees, I die a slow death...one day, kids...one day, those republicans will come to their senses...see what a mess, they helped makes this country and say ‘my God, what have I done?...

Anyhoo, back to moi...I have bought 2 beanies to wear back at the GC, when we have our frost delays...

Good morning all, from the great state of Oregon...this whole trip is about FRIENDS!...meeting up with peops we have been with over our years in the PNW...and for Boss's reunion....the opening act was a combo party of the two at this pad, a bar, called Johnny's...simply said, it was fun... The stories were there, the faces remained the same...and it tickled moi, that so many FRIENDS showed up...unfortunately, I did not get enough time to talk to all, please forgive me...when you go back some 60 years, my memory does fade a tad...well, and so does their's...ha ha...believe me, it was worth the trip... Boss was one of the belles of the ball...yes, she still looks great...you know that....well, the rest of her class did not know that, until last eve...she was flitting (flirting) about so...which made me smile...and that is only the beginning of it...the REAL reunion is tonight...one of my FRIENDS reminded me that is the gals reunion...which I think is most reunions...it is for...

When the thesaurus ran it's new version...it highlighted the word 'oration'...and there it was ... President Barack Obama...and then there is more..... see...Michelle Obama ...these two have the fundamental prowess of giving speeches...at the right time...at the right place... No better example of this, than last night at the DNC...each were marvelous...of course ...it's what people, special people, like these two...do...carry a message across the Nation...that we all can not only understand, but agree with... For seemingly years, the Horse has said...that if Michelle O wanted to be in the White House, AGAIN...this time as the President, and not the wife...she could ...however, for right now...she is supporting the right choice...for this time of the history of our country.... Tonight, we hear another exceptional orator...President Bill Clinton ...it's almost like taking a class in college...Speech 101...BTW, I was turrible at it...just in case you were wondering......

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter...
