Good morning, kids...as we finish up the year 2024...the news of the passing of President Jimmy Carter is the headline for most web sites...he was 100 years of age...led a great life...and we met him as he was running for the job, way back when...very charismatic...for sure...RIP....

The blog title for the day...is most unsettling...you must have seen it used around the web....perhaps, on the pixels...DOGE...anagram for what?...get this...it is a proposal by orange and his best buddy, Musk...a NEW agency, that they say we NEED for the USA...it stands for Department of Government Efficiency...yup...headed by Elon and yes, Hootenanny...if accepted into the rigors of the country...it has endless powers to 'clean up' the government...imagine, letting those two wallow about in the history of the USA...and change what has been established since the beginning...hang on to your seats, and pop the popcorn...I for one, will not stand by and let this go unchecked...will follow every move...are you with me?...

I am so sorry, but I awakened late...so, this is it for today...Singing Hills, well, I can hear the call...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
