Powerful Day for some Ducks

The NFL featured some games, that had some mighty awesome quarterbacking from some Duck alums...Bo Nix, now with the Denver Broncos, had a marvelous outing in their lopsided win over the Atlanta Falcons...we Duck fans, knew he would be awesome on this level...even though, there were like 4 or 5 QB's drafted ahead of him...and then, in the nitecap, Justin Herbert was near flawless in the 1st half versus the Cincy Bengals...and was mere mortal in the 2nd...until the last winning drive for the LA (ol San Diego) Chargers...

However, the game of games...was the Buffalo Bills win over the Kansas City Chiefs (hey now now)...as former Wyoming grad, QB Josh Allen, ran a wicked path to the end zone, to knock KC out of the undefeated ranks...terrific game...and BTW, Josh is the early front runner for the Horse's MVP vote...I do have a vote, right?...well, I can name my own...winner gets a horse head....not a real one, like in the flick, Godfather...

Duh...

I have no idea if the NBA games that the guys are playing in...are part of the 'mini tournament' or not...actually, JCC...

Much to my surprise, the Ducks retained the unanimous vote for being the number 1 team in the nation...man, there's a lot of jostling about for the rest of the final 12 teams in...might there be a 3 loss team in?...they have to get a bunch of them SEC guys included, somehow...

For all of the hullaballoo, of securing the 'black vote' by the trump people...how many of them, has he added to his pre-announced cabinet?...are you counting?...thus far, a big fat ZERO!...you were hoodwinked...hang on to your passports, kids...ahem, Hootenanny, isn't, is he?...

The noms that orange has made...well, to pass the Senate...might take a bit of doing...he thought he could bypass that, with a shenanigan...the Senate says no way...so, there are some of these dogs, that may be rejected...starting with the biggest foo of them all, Gaetz...nobody likes him...except the donald...

Nordstrom just announced their early 'Black Friday' deals...wait, there is still a Nordstrom?...I thought they closed shop...well, around here they did...

We have an 11:12 tee time...will we finish before dark?....man, I hate this time change...and yes, children, it has been COLD down here in South SoCal...

I used to not watch the AMA's...cuz I didn't like the music (?)...and now, I add the CMA's...no idear who many of the performers are...gone are Carrie, Sara, Blake, Little Big Town, George, and LeAnn...to name just a few...now, there are the likes of Jelly Roll, Lainey Wilson, Shaboozey, well...you get me drift...I'll pass...boooooooooo...

Our BEST goes out to our good friend and Horse reader...Barb Gahr...from her knee operation...geez, you can't keep a good woman down...wonder how long before she gets out and golfs?...she shall test all limits, for sure...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
