Single Digit

The countdown has begun...until Election Day...egads, and the polls (?) suggest that we all must sit tight and wait...like EVERY election I have witnessed...one doesn't know, until the tallies are counted...for many, much too many, it makes no difference who the candidate is....they vote party lines, regardless...THAT'S why it is always so close...it's those who are not so danged stubborn...and go with the right thing to do...yes, kids...single digit of days left...you nervous?...I am...as per usual...

The Ducks had a superior first half, against a ranked opponent in Illinois...brilliant play and it was over...the 2nd half?...a huge mistake, made by a defensive lineman, allowed the Illini some brief respite...yet, the UO team finished it off...resting their starters for a good half of the 4th stanza...all good...

For the rest of the games about the country...went as planned for the most part...planned?...ah, the favorite team won...exception was that LSU lost to A&M...Notre Dame blew out the party candles for the Navy...big time and easily...and my dark horse, is no longer dark...Indiana...kept on a winning...their next 3?...Mich St, Michigan, and Ohio St...we shall see...

The Trolley Dodgers are now up 2...going across the Nation to NY...to play them Damn Yankees in their home...friendly confines...and this came out of yesterday's LA win...Shohei blew out his shoulder sliding...HUGE loss...stay tuned for this one...

What about the Israel attack in Iran?...pointed targets...and from the drone photos, were accurately disposed of...let's see what Iran does in retaliation...

We traversed to another area for din din...University Heights...man, for all the 2 decades we have lived here...we have never traveled over there...very cool area, and many spots that are to be tested...yup, we have been stuck in the Gaslamp and Little Italy...for our date nites...we are branching out...

It's Sunday...and you know it...Monster Sudoku time...thought I had 51 last week...finished it and gulp, had  2 8's...crazy eights...perhaps today....

Good morning all, from the great state of Oregon...this whole trip is about FRIENDS!...meeting up with peops we have been with over our years in the PNW...and for Boss's reunion....the opening act was a combo party of the two at this pad, a bar, called Johnny's...simply said, it was fun... The stories were there, the faces remained the same...and it tickled moi, that so many FRIENDS showed up...unfortunately, I did not get enough time to talk to all, please forgive me...when you go back some 60 years, my memory does fade a tad...well, and so does their's...ha ha...believe me, it was worth the trip... Boss was one of the belles of the ball...yes, she still looks great...you know that....well, the rest of her class did not know that, until last eve...she was flitting (flirting) about so...which made me smile...and that is only the beginning of it...the REAL reunion is tonight...one of my FRIENDS reminded me that is the gals reunion...which I think is most reunions...it is for...

When the thesaurus ran it's new version...it highlighted the word 'oration'...and there it was ... President Barack Obama...and then there is more..... see...Michelle Obama ...these two have the fundamental prowess of giving speeches...at the right time...at the right place... No better example of this, than last night at the DNC...each were marvelous...of course ...it's what people, special people, like these two...do...carry a message across the Nation...that we all can not only understand, but agree with... For seemingly years, the Horse has said...that if Michelle O wanted to be in the White House, AGAIN...this time as the President, and not the wife...she could ...however, for right now...she is supporting the right choice...for this time of the history of our country....
