No, it's not a commercial for a Taco Bell special...TRIPLE PLAY...it's all about the Friars...in game 1 vs the Bums in LaLa Land...ah, Chavez Ravine...setting the stage...the Padres led 4-1 going into the bottom of the 9th....we bring in our closer (?) Suarez...who has been very iffy lately....blowing 3 of 6 chances...and he promptly gives up 3 straight hits and the Dodgers close it to 4-2...no outs, and 2 guys on...1st and 2nd...on deck is none other than Shohei Ohtani, the best hitter in the biz...the LA batter...

Hits a grounder to 3B Manny....who then tags 3rd, throws to 2nd, and then the throw to 1st...ALL OUTS!...the game is over...a very rare, TRIPLE PLAY!...Friars win game 1...close the gap to 2...and also, with the win, clinch a playoff spot....celebrations?...not like it normally would be...as we have 2 more to go with the Bums...catch 'em and pass 'em?...perhaps, but it is still a pipe dream...

This is fun, kids...the way it should be...could be...HATE LA!...ha ha, especially the traffic...

So happy for Sabrina and the Liberty...as they won series one...and move on to the semis in the WNBA playoffs...she had a terrific 36 point effort...right on...

Brett Favre says he has Parkinson's...is it a result of getting hit so often in football?...can that be a cause?...I am dumb about this...

Keep a close eye on the Middle East...as the escalation is here and now...the UK has moved troops close...as have us, the USA...as we discount the number of people killed...don't do that...it is lives...the problem I have, is that we don't value LIFE as we should...

Good morning all, from the great state of Oregon...this whole trip is about FRIENDS!...meeting up with peops we have been with over our years in the PNW...and for Boss's reunion....the opening act was a combo party of the two at this pad, a bar, called Johnny's...simply said, it was fun... The stories were there, the faces remained the same...and it tickled moi, that so many FRIENDS showed up...unfortunately, I did not get enough time to talk to all, please forgive me...when you go back some 60 years, my memory does fade a tad...well, and so does their's...ha ha...believe me, it was worth the trip... Boss was one of the belles of the ball...yes, she still looks great...you know that....well, the rest of her class did not know that, until last eve...she was flitting (flirting) about so...which made me smile...and that is only the beginning of it...the REAL reunion is tonight...one of my FRIENDS reminded me that is the gals reunion...which I think is most reunions...it is for...

President Barack Obama...and then there is more..... see...Michelle Obama ...these two have the fundamental prowess of giving speeches...at the right time...at the right place... No better example of this, than last night at the DNC...each were marvelous...of course ...it's what people, special people, like these two...do...carry a message across the Nation...that we all can not only understand, but agree with... For seemingly years, the Horse has said...that if Michelle O wanted to be in the White House, AGAIN...this time as the President, and not the wife...she could ...however, for right now...she is supporting the right choice...for this time of the history of our country....
