The ability of the Bum's prize player, Shohei Ohtani, has caused quite the stir in this neighborhood...well, all of LaLa Land...he didn't do it, playing for the Anaheim Angels...but, oh my, he has blossomed, moving to the other side of the city...50/50...and, his latest tater, er home run, was garnered by a fan...who wouldn't give it up...took the ball home...no negotiation...sure, he will wait for the right price...a million?...probably more...I call it 'The Tater Prize'...

Staying in the wild wild Wild West...we, the Friars, are 4 back of the Bums...the DBacks are 6 back...we host the White Sox...for a set this weekend...fingers crossed...

Your guy trump, meeting with a group of Jewish folk...blamed them for any loss in the polls...and said he needs their support...I still say, quit covering this foo...man, he would blow his gasket...er, his blonde head...

What's with the dude in North Carolina?...running for Guv?...egads...what a past he has...

An observation in both Temecula and Huntington Beach....kids, like middle school age...most have electric bikes...is this a phenomena everywhere?...how much do these cost?...they are everywhere...

So we updated our iPhones to IOS18...not sure what it does diff...but, it does seem to use up the battery a bit more...not sure why...it does make the photos appear to be easily grouped together...better...you know of anything else?...

Cosmo is mighty convenient and comfy...and dollar for dollar, a lot cheaper than a 2nd home...we are digging it...

HB has such a great mall directly across the 1...and we lurve Schimzy's...terrific halfway point for our trip to Montecito... 

Have you seen the onslaught of Katy Perry on the web net?....promoting her album...I guess...is it that she is trying to stay young?...don't blame her...I am, too...fat chance for moi....

I am shocked!...I never ever thought that the Jet's QB Aaron Rodgers, would be as good as he is, after the Achilles tear...

The jury is out on the K Cup Starbuck's French Roast...so doggone similar to the fresh beans I grind...hmmm...

Yes, this is our 50th Anniversary...I am a lucky guy...and, to celebrate it with the kids...even better...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed...
