Breaking...Facebook stopped this post!...why?...can't figure out the reasoning...help me out...




First of all, thank you to all who wished us a happy 50th...the Golden One...you are so nice to say so...without a doubt, spending it with the Kids...is so special...they are growing up so fast...and Cy Cy and Boss have a terrific bond...it makes the trip all worthwhile...

How about the wild wild Wild West!...now down to 3 games back...looming, is this week's 3 game set with the leading, and team we are trying to catch....them Bums...we are set to clinch a playoff spot, maybe even today...

We spent our special din din, at a place near Carp...where there is a sand area, where the kids can play...while everyone eats...and it was slammed, of course...just an awesome idea for the concept of dinner...lurve it...good food, too...fish san that was Mahi Mahi...yummy...Boss had snapper...5 stars...

BTW, there is an explosion of kids, very similar in age to ours....with soccer games EVERYWHERE!...one more observation....very tall parents...what?...must be the area...Santa Barbara/Montecito....just exactly like Salem/Keizer...

And...

Another mass shooting...this time in Alabama...lord...and the hits keep right on a coming...

Chargers at Steelers...the over under has to be like 20...ha ha...10-7 seems about the correct score...

Beavs beat the Boilermakers...that's a good turnaround...much needed...

Your guy trump...turned down an invite for another debate with VP Harris..."it's too late"...ha ha...I think he is right...he would be further stomped...the silver fish he is....

The WNBA starts their playoffs today...best of 3 matches....

Finally, got some firewood...for the next 2 days of camping on the beach...smores?...not on MY diet...but, yes for the kids...love a campfire...

Off to baseball practice this am...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
