What's Going On?


Good morning, kids...the summer is pretty fine, right?...as we embrace the last month of it...August...is it just me, or did July fly by?...get yourself a cup of Joe...and let's sit down and talk awhile...you add sugar?...cream?...not moi, straight black...

Speaking of black...did you see the latest guffaw of your guy trump?...he went to get interviewed, at a Black People's Conference...Black Journalist's Convention...in Chicago...to say, it did not go well for him, is an understatement...didn't like the questions, and was eventually, escorted off the stage...by his people...his line of, in query to VP Kamala Harris's heritage...is yet, another low blow for the bloke...he will go lower, yet...thing is, he can't find something derogatory enough to stick...which is his mantra...keep talking, Bozo, keep talking...

The Friars are narrowing the gap on the Bums...do you hear us, LA?...as in a two set, the Padres swept the Dodgers...this last game, an 8-1 romp...monster crowds at Petco, that were very loud, baby...and within the walls of the stadium, there were lots of Dodger Blue, sitting on their hands...da duh, da duh, da duh....the shark is getting closer and closer...

This is our week of upgrading our tech stuff...new phones, new bedroom TV, and new laptop...all this on a fixed income?...suffice to say, we are eating in the home, the rest of the month...now, the TV has a new set of problems...will not connect to the Cox Cable remote...went to bed, without the remedy...Daffy Duck...so, that is the issue for the day...make it work...I get so frustrated...probably need a Cox dude out to conquer the beast...

Olympics...the USA is leading in medals won, but Japan has the most gold, thus far...the guys hoops are cruising after 2, as are the gals...the ladies gymnastics won gold...and now, the golf...starts this morning...yes, there are lots of others, that are going on, too...my mind is elsewhere...

American Idol...the change is that Katy Perry is now out...and the newbie, is none other than a past winner of the show, Carrie Underwood!...terrific choice, according to the Horse...joining Lionel and the Maga Luke...not a fan...Luke...the show?...yes...

As I write this am, the US and Russia, are making a huge prisoner swap...perhaps, they could take donny, too?...Evan Gershkovich and Paul Whelan, said to be coming back to the states...not sure, who the Russians get...

Equity in sport?...in MLB...the entire tam payroll of these two franchises...the Miami Marlins is $14.7 million dollars...the New York Yankees is $255 million dollars...right, equity...

A pointed question from a concerned newbie...'how do you get dry from a bidet?'...

You have 21 days to get into shape for your reunion...3 weeks...don't eat, run a lot, lift weights, don't drink...ah, just go to a KK doc and get it all taken off by him...

OK, time to get to work on this damn TV connection business...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
