The Champs



Aloha, my amigos...after missing yesterday, ah, the golf course beckoned...I have been left with discussing not only last nite's masterful W by the new NBA Champs, the Boston Celtics...and the Father's Day Champ of the US Open, Bryan DeChambeau...let's go...The Celtics...not sure how they recovered from a 38 point drubbing in Dallas...but, they did...with a methodical, minute by minute, beat down of the defenseless Mavericks...led by the two outstanding leaders of Boston, Jaylen (MVP) Brown and Jaysun Tatum...too bad they didn't give co-MVP's...terrific year for them...the best in the regular season, and in the playoffs...enuff said...

The US Open...in just a brutal survival of a very over-rated course in Pinehurst #2...in my thinking, a joke of a track...Bryson DeChambeau persevered...as Rory McIlroy had one hand around his neck...as the long bombers dominated the championship...the LIV cave in, BD somehow got the crowd on his side...and I still have this feeling looking at him...has he been tested for steroids lately?...he once was a normal sized lad...does Mark McGwire and Sammy Sosa come to mind, back a bit in MLB?...they, too, were hitting bombs...

One more thing...as hard as it can be to do...Rory MUST stick around and congratulate the winner...he didn't and showed lack of class...

The Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese feud...got even worse...as in the past weekend's game vs the two...the Fever and the Sky...hate these names...Reese hammered the head of Clark on a drive to the hoop...she called it a basketball play...I call it a brutal attack...in my way of thinking, an immediate disqualification and a fine...in all of my years of playing, coaching, and observing...I never saw this play like that...in the NBA, only the Warriors's Green has done it...it is not hoops...it is thuggery...and is never to be allowed...

The Friars on a totally abysmal road trip...can't hit, can't pitch, and can't compete...

Guess that does the sports wrap...

Thinking out loud...this is a help center bit...once a politician gets defeated...what does he or she do?...their life is...an elected official...that is what and how they make their dough...to survive...somehow, they have to pay for their campaign...was it all through donations?...lobbyists?...how about declaring bankruptcy?...what happens to all the hanger onners?...they be gone...do you seek out another spot to run for?...chances are, they have no backup plan...they are career politicians...I guess, IF they can get elected...suppose some have jail time staring them in the face...ah, Bozo...

James Carville...you know him?...long time Demo strategist, that always is wearing LSU garb...telling MSNBC's Ari Melber, that he will bet YOU...that donny is a no show for the 1st debate with Prez B...I kind of think that, too...

Just saw this...HC of the Celtics, Joe Mazzulla, says he coached the entire playoffs with a torn meniscus!...surgery pending...now...

JT arrested for DWI?...in the Hamptons...c'mon man, don't you have a chauffeur?...or, get an Uber...JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE...

Seeing so many ads for an additive to coffee...that helps on lost weight...a gaggle of celebrities are promoting it...what do you think?...true or false?...AI?...

Today, I have to take the Beetle in for the bi-yearly SMOG test...a racket that the states has...man, what is money?...don't they know, all us elders are on fixed income...well, not all of us...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
