The More I See You


'The more I see you, the more I want you'....how very untrue...in some cases...right?...everyday, we see the mug of trump...somewhere...either at his criminal trial, at one of his revivals, at his pad in Mara-lago, or on the golf course...cheating, of course...it's what I term the 'Kardashian Effect'...get out in the limelight, however you can...just keep you face in the news, the web net, the newspaper, on the tele, whatever...just be seen...you can lie, cheat, steal, makes no difference...just be out there...someone will photograph you, or put you on video...anything for the free publicity...

Getting back to the song...popularized in the Boomer Era by Chris Montez...1966...it actually was released in...get this...1945!...sung by Dick Haymes in the 1945 flick, Diamond Horseshoe...covered by many after...including Montez, Bing Crosby, Nancy Sinatra, Andy Williams, Ella Fitzgerald, and a whole cast of singers later on...as late as Michael Buble...

You must recall of your group days...perhaps in school...really, everywhere...'Cliques'...where there appears to be an 'in crowd'...that may or may not include you...in your past...shoot, it still may go on...it can be a very evil thang...I'm sure you can recall examples of such...often it is a sign of money...the rich cats...I pondered many times about the 'Young Life' christian thing in the schools...even, here at the Home...there is buzz about club censures...come on folks, time is short...cut this crap out...then I realize we have the same thing at our golf course...my group...ha ha...well, there have been some that have been let loose...did hear from one of the golf cart girls, we are named...we actually have a moniker...'The Outcasts'...ah ha, now this is anti-clique, I would think...as close to being called 'losers'...'it takes balls to play in a group like yours'...yea, dude, lots of them...

The Friars continue on the path of bad baseball...at home...getting humiliated by the Damn Yankees...8-0...even worse, the guy that GM AJ traded away, Juan Soto, hit a dinger off Yu, and then flipped his stick towards our bench...can't believe that it didn't start a brawl...the beauty of the game, another one today...

For all of the 'significance' of getting the 'best defense' in the league...the TWolves...how can you NOT DOUBLE the Mav's Doncic in prime time of the game?...who then hits a 3 ball to beat ya...

Staying with this...I think the 'coaching' in the NBA just stinks...and to think the front runner for the LeBron Laker job is JJ Reddick...who has never coached before...as an assistant...has done analyst work...and now he steps in to coach?...what a joke...maybe, just maybe, the players are uncoachable...that's why they would hire a rookie...inmates running the asylum...

Not to be missed...the Indiana Fever got their first win!...over LA...and the bubble over the head of Caitlin Clark has finally burst...good on her...now, play ball...

Early next week, we are heading over to the desert...hosted by them great Morrises...to get some needed sun...and pool time...really really looking forward to it...my brown skin turns...well, you know...the real trick, is how to stay on the diet...we can do it...BTW, you should see our fridge...bare bones...

Not mine, but worthy of print in the Horse...'I didn't know that Sylvester Stallone was on his third marriage.  I guess his first was rocky, and the second one was rocky, too...'...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
