Thursday Big Punch



So many things happening today...the NFL Draft...the Case of the Knickerbocker...the Supreme Court inches in on trump...NYC Courtroom resumes on the trump criminal trial...the Friars try to win 3/4 in Colorado...and the best of all, our son and his eldest come here to stay for the weekend...let's get to it...

I began with the draft...as the wealthy owners and their employees, make pix for the upcoming season...of interest, is the abundant amount of quality QB's...there are 6, so the pundits say...my interest is only in Bo Nix, the Duck...well, that's not entirely true...what teams need, and what they draft...some times differ...and Lordy, there are doubts out there...I am telling you, the LSU guy, the Heisman winner, Daniels, is a strong maybe...at best...and the Michigan QB will fall flat in his face...who knows about the UNC dude...shouldn't what you do in college have something with your draft abilities?...the sound choices are the west coast's...USC, UDub and UO guys...trust the Horse...but, the owners don't call me...

The Case of the Knickerbocker...it's been a good long time since the NY Knicks have had a contender...in fact, they go back to the Walt Frazier and Earl the Pearl Monroe teams...that's back in the 70's...and the hoops hub of the world is in NYC...really?...MSG...well, they are certainly getting some very strange calls, or no calls, going their way...their 3 leaders, all hail from the Natty winners Villanova, Brunson, Hart, and DeVicenso...no better example than the last win over Philly...marred with grievous body blocks to get the rock...all no calls...then, get this...the NBA admitted fouls should have been called...sorry dudes...something is smelling mighty fishy in the NBA right now...the site of NY is the stinkiest...

Well, one could make a case for stinky in DC...as the Supreme Court is attacking the issue of whether or not, trump should have pres immunity for all his sins...you want your protests, just wait and see where these 9 go with this...sit back and wait and see...I have sincere doubts of proper judgments...isn't that sad?...we should trust the top court in our land...

The Criminal trial resumes today...Pecker back in the chair...and we shall hear about what the defense conjures up on him...still awaiting what the verdict on the gag order is...that today, too?...donny went out and ungagged this am, on the way to court...about Pecker...which is another no no...the guy just can't keep his mouth shut...wonder if the forevers watch this stuff...doubt it...my Maga friends don't...they are still battling Hillary...a sidelight...next door in Arizona...a bevy of people got the court date for trying to steal the election there...the usual suspects are in it...Rudy and Meadows....

The floaty Friars got game 3 in Colorado...scoring 4 in the 1st and that is almost always a great thing...in a 5-2 win...the fixation is on the day game...we need 3/4 for a nice road trip...BTW, our closer, Suarez, is 9/9...where is last year's dude, anyway?...how is he doing?...dunno...

The college and university pro-palestinian riots... really should be Gaza riots, right?...expanding list of them, the schools that is...hmmm...really?...woah to be Jewish right now...not right...

Thinking out loud...if a Prez had immunity while in the job...then Nixon should have lasted his term out....right?...Watergate would be nuttin....

And the best of all...our son and his eldest are to be here for the weekend...we are so excited!...Children's Museum, MLK path for his scooter, Children's Park, meeting all our friends, and going to a Padre game!...

Finally, the weigh in for one week of our Keto type diet...no carbs, no sugar...4 pounds lost...doesn't seem like much...but, it's a start...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
