Good morning, all...as we set sail on our last day of this 'rain pattern' here in south SoCal...hasn't been much, but well, 'we need it'...right...it does keep the Horse off the golf course...

Let's start with the news of the republicans...as I told you yesterday, DeSantis of Florida (DF) would drop out of the prez race...I thought after the New Hampshire vote tomorrow...he must have seen the numbers and decided to quit prior...and after all the trump name calling of him, DF went ahead and endorsed orange...what a foo...so, the remaining two on the ballot...trump and Nikki Haley...let's see how this goes...it is way early and the courts are going to be in session today...for trump...

BREAKING...trial is postponed til tomorrow due to Covid concerns...

The court...it has been released by his people...Jr and Erik, that trump will try to testify today...he already is guilty, but is trying to minimize what he will owe...ha ha...keep talking, dude...nobody but your forevers buy what you say...certainly, not the judge...this will be fun for all of us naysayers...of trump...

Talk about a feel good story on the PGA Tour...not the Norman one...where an amateur won the T in La Quinta...the desert, kids...Nick Dunlap, 20 year old collegiate from Alabama...shot 29 under to beat them pros...even when it counted, the last 2 holes he parred out...and the pro, Sam Burns, he was tied with...choked up, hit 2 water balls, and got beat...BTW, the last amateur to win on tour?...Lefty, er Phil Mickelson, in 1991...due to the amateur status, guess how much he won for the W?...absolutely nuttin...

Wide right...egads...words that echo in the history of them Bills...as the tying FG did go, wide right...and the KC Chiefs won the big game at Buffalo...these two teams are terrific and add the Ravens, the best trio in the league...Detroit beat the Bucs, who gave a surprisingly stronger effort than I thought...so now...we have 49ers vs Lions...and Chiefs vs Ravens...good stuff...

Whatever happened to the TV guide?...I used to study that damn thing...to make sure I didn't miss a show...it was a staple in our house...even did the crossword puzzle...
