WAR!



I absolutely hate the fact that people take other people's lives...and that now, Israel and Hamas are at WAR!!!...the numbers of deaths, are already devastating...after but 2 days, the estimation is over 900...the Middle East...and not that far from this one...Putin's War in Ukraine...so totally combustible...the world just can't stay stagnant, can it...there are always leaders that want more...the pawns, are the ones that die...it's so pathetic...

Listen, all the rest of my blog entry today, has much less importance...but, here we go...

Did you see the ending of the Miami U game vs Georgia Tech?...ah, man, the former Duck HC, Super Mario...did it again...in lieu of finishing the game with a kneel down...opted for a run...and his RB fumbled...next play, GT threw for a game winning TD!...egads, the critics are a howling...Cristobal...big promiser, but, well, ...

And, I stayed up til 11:30 pm...watching the USC/'Zona game...triple OT...the 'winning' conversion was by the Trojan QB Williams...did NOT see a replay that showed he got the ball over the pile on, BEFORE he went out of bounds...the replay center must have...got to trust them, right?...can hardly wait for the Trojan/Duck game when we get there...

A really odd game in Berkeley...as the Beavs beat the Bears...ah, the vaunted OSU D was only so so...but, the O, was near sensational...especially, when it counted...guess being on the road, is a tuff thing in the PAC whatever...oh yea, and UCLA knocked off WSU...another road loss...probably the diff...

The DBacks continued their marvelous run at the World Series...as they destroyed the ace of the Bums, Kershaw...as he only got ONE OUT, and gave up 6...in the FIRST...so much for all the 'experts'...

The Kansas City Chiefs...yes, they have Chiefs...in KC...visit the Minnesota Vikings for a game today...but, that is not the real thing for the country...it's whether or not, Taylor Swift will be there...cameras ready...shoot...is this one of her longest relationships?...or is this just fodder for a future album?...we haven't had a good rah rah song, since 'Be True To Your School' by The Beach Boys...

Tomorrow is Indigenous People's day...wait a minute, buster...why not Native Americans Day?...and youse others can have Columbus Day...guess it is in the eye of the beholder...I am beholding it, and it is Native's Day...gonna golf and have some fun...

Finally, talked to my FF HC Barney Fife...dang if he wasn't just coming back from a visit to Disneyland...he needed to rest up before the big game today...his only sane comment was, that he was petrified by the Splash Mountain ride...man, I got no chance, do I...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
