The Idol

For all of you who have followed the American Idol Show thru the years...I have to think that this one was one of the best...the judges are spot on...they appear to really care about the contestants...there is none better than Lionel Ritchie....just a class act...

The fan vote is always a quizzical thang...the tally and all...as you know, I am skeptical about any of this...I like to see actual numbers...as I have queried the process from day 1...but, that is what most of these talent shows do...'trust us'...the other one, the Dancing With the Stars...who knows...

The Hawaiian kid was clearly the fav this time around...at least for the Horse...and the crowd in attendance, too...HE WON!...but over the years, there have been some great winners, and especially some runner ups...that have been stars in waiting...Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Adam Lambert, Jennifer Hudson, Kat McPhee, Scotty McCreery, Lauren Alaina, Haley Reinhart, Ruben Studdard, Clay Aiken, Jordan Sparks, to name just some I recall...perhaps, the most under appreciated, is Gabby Barrett...

The final show was fun...the highlights were Jelly Roll (seriously), Lainey Wilson, and the collaboration of Judge Katy Perry and Haven Madison....who I think has a shot at stardom...watch for her...and of course, the winner Iam Tongi, who I would GO and see in concert...

Must talk a bit about the good time story of the PGA teaching pro, Michael Block...who not only finished tied for 15th...but, had a HOLE IN ONE on the final round...a winner, just as such...the W by Brooks Koepka...the whole T...stud...

The NBA playoffs...both the Heat and Nuggets lead 3 nil...so good...especially that the damned Lakers are LOSING!...makes my month...

The Republican frontrunner...your guy trump...has already started up with his name calling...singling out his Florida Guv as tiny...and the gal on the View as a bunch of shaming things...he is despicable...and I can't believe YOU would vote for him...if he is in the slammer, would YOU still vote foe him?...

If you are not into the Diplomat yet, do so...Netflix...you can thank me later...or now...or whenever...as I said before, it is a little deep...you can ask questions anytime...I am here...

'They' are meeting today on the Debt Ceiling...what's the odds that it works out this week?...

This is a dear thing...Harlan Crow wants to stop talking about Chief Justice Clarence Thomas...is he Chief?...well, SCOTUS member...no kidding...they need to break up...it may be too late...

THE water source for much of the west....the Colorado River...the preservation of all the tributaries...the 2 major lakes, Powell and Meade...depend on that water...so much more...the Biden Administration is working on the problem...and within 3 years things should improve...absolutely necessary...
