Mo-mentum

Over the years, I have talked about the mind set of MO-MENTUM!...happens everywhere...politics, especially..yet, we usually relate it to sports...which is the one I am going to go with today...the Golf T n Maui...at the beautiful Plantation Course at Kapalua...where the player, Colin Morikawa, was breezing along up 7 in the final round, and even at 9 over the distant Jon Rahm...

Seemed like this was a foregone conclusion...and then...mistakes happened...to Colin...missed shots, horrific wedges...and then he couldn't stop...the negative momentum...it happens, kids...at the same time, Rahm had caught fire...birdies, eagle, birdie, and at the same time, Colin had bogey, bogey...and in the latter part of the round...the 9 strokes had vanished and Rahm was leading...and won...by 2...

Golf is a hard, sometimes, cruel game...it's all about you...in depth, the Morikawa family has roots in Maui...ran a restaurant on Main Street in Lahaina...one of my favorite places on this earth...no doubt, that was part of his thinking, too...what a great story to add on to...the win...sadness, prevailed...flaws in his game that have to be addressed...however, for the 4 rounds of play, he was 25 UNDER PAR!...it's just this momentum thing...

The NFL...the Hawks won in OT via the FG over the hapless former champs, the Rams...which eliminated Detroit, who were playing the Pack...if the Pack won, they were in the playoffs...get beat by the Lions, the Hawks were in...95% of the pundits had Green Bay winning...they lost...Seattle is in...don't ever bet on the NFL...

Pinks slips for the NFL head coaches will come in the next few days...the owners are ruthless bastards...most have no clue, other than they have their franchises as tinkertoys...the Texans already have axed Lovie Smith, get this, after ONE SEASON!...oh my...and just after winning the Champ last season, the Rams are leaking that their guy could be let loose...listen dudes, just don't buy a house if you are hired...

Yea, my FF team won in a stomp...over the 10 year old...not sure what place it is for, makes no diff...we finished the season on a high note, debouching that learned one...just got official word...won the finals, and finished 9th....ha ha ha ha...
