Mo-mentum



Over the years, I have talked about the mind set of MO-MENTUM!...happens everywhere...politics, especially..yet, we usually relate it to sports...which is the one I am going to go with today...the Golf T n Maui...at the beautiful Plantation Course at Kapalua...where the player, Colin Morikawa, was breezing along up 7 in the final round, and even at 9 over the distant Jon Rahm...

Seemed like this was a foregone conclusion...and then...mistakes happened...to Colin...missed shots, horrific wedges...and then he couldn't stop...the negative momentum...it happens, kids...at the same time, Rahm had caught fire...birdies, eagle, birdie, and at the same time, Colin had bogey, bogey...and in the latter part of the round...the 9 strokes had vanished and Rahm was leading...and won...by 2...

Golf is a hard, sometimes, cruel game...it's all about you...in depth, the Morikawa family has roots in Maui...ran a restaurant on Main Street in Lahaina...one of my favorite places on this earth...no doubt, that was part of his thinking, too...what a great story to add on to...the win...sadness, prevailed...flaws in his game that have to be addressed...however, for the 4 rounds of play, he was 25 UNDER PAR!...it's just this momentum thing...

The NFL...the Hawks won in OT via the FG over the hapless former champs, the Rams...which eliminated Detroit, who were playing the Pack...if the Pack won, they were in the playoffs...get beat by the Lions, the Hawks were in...95% of the pundits had Green Bay winning...they lost...Seattle is in...don't ever bet on the NFL...

Pinks slips for the NFL head coaches will come in the next few days...the owners are ruthless bastards...most have no clue, other than they have their franchises as tinkertoys...the Texans already have axed Lovie Smith, get this, after ONE SEASON!...oh my...and just after winning the Champ last season, the Rams are leaking that their guy could be let loose...listen dudes, just don't buy a house if you are hired...

Brutal...the copycat Coup attempt by the trump minded Brazilians...storm the capitol...well, congressional buildings...take it over by force...this works?...quelled and more than 400 arrested...congratulations Fonny, your tactics are being mimicked elsewhere...

CNN is running a series about 'Guliani'...he started right, and did good things...but, his methods, surround himself with yes people...was his thang...my oh my, did his path go severely wrong...

This cold thing, just keeps a hanging on...and now, the Boss, has it...we are a pair to draw to...cough cough, hack hack...

The Montecito/Santa Barbara area is getting hammered by rain...Dr Cris is working to save his office and home from this legendary amount of rain...up to 15 inches?...is that real?...imagine...if he can quell it til tomorrow noonish, he will be OK...egads...

Guess the Horse is a bearer of bad news today...how can I turn this around...

Yea, my FF team won in a stomp...over the 10 year old...not sure what place it is for, makes no diff...we finished the season on a high note, debouching that learned one...just got official word...won the finals, and finished 9th....ha ha ha ha... 

Abraham Hicks seems to think he has a handle on negative momentum...ain't that easy, dude...

The Natty Champ Game this eve....Georgia a 12 1/2 point fav over TCU...take the Horny Frogs and all them points...

C'mon Mother Nature, enough already...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
