Nothing but the Truth





Each and every day...as we wallow in the aftermath of the worst day in the history of politics in the country...the failed COUP orchestrated by trump...as his once fellow follower, Senator Mitch McConnell, of Kentucky...just said..."We all know who was responsible for the insurrection"...words to that effect...and now...the House of Reps Coup Committee...recommends from their investigation that 4 counts of illegal acts by donald trump, shall be passed on to the DOJ...for their action to follow up on...if they choose...

A shame...the embarrassment of it all...to how this country is run...and by whom...lives lost...Congressionals hiding and running for their lives...as the Coup was in full force...orchestrated by trump and his follies...the combatants, one by one, are being imprisoned...incarcerated...what about the ring leaders?...those who set it up?....do they roam the streets freely?...that's what the Coup Committee dealt with...and what they came up with...it is now up to the Department of Justice to do what's right...

This is a big deal to me...as we traverse thru the hard times of insurrection attempts by the misguided leadership of trump...the lies and half truths that he laid on the country ever since he came to power...a sham...the idea of a new way of governing...turned out to be a farce...thank goodness it was for only 4 years...this will go down in history as the biggest mistake the USA ever made...electing him...

Moving on...

How we treat our kids....the ones that we made...how we provide for them...how we set them up to succeed...the paths they follow...how we support them...through those growing pains...and on and on...that's why I like watching the parent/child golf tourney so much...how similar they all are...brings tears to me eyes...

As we age...and the distance grows between the offspring and the parents...the reversal becomes a reality...weird phenomena of life...just don't let that distance be too far...apart...

My fantasy world...well, my football team can not reach .500...not sure if I can make the playoffs...might be stuck in the toilet bowl...in Flushing, NY...

I have been engrossed in a book 'The Vietnam War'...have talked to many of my buds, who were in it...some I was surprised about...as they never ever talked about it...some miraculous escapes...some got shot up...man, had no idea...and then, listened to some friends that adopted two kids from Vietnam...so heartwarming...just another look from that country...bewildering, too...how a scare of the 'domino theory' of Communism can drive such a horrific WAR...so so many lives destroyed by misguided leadership...again...book is authored by Geoffrey C. Ward and Ken Burns...

This is frightening...a text from Hope Hicks to a colleague "Attacking the VP? WTF is wrong with him."....him is...trump...case closed...

You must have noticed that trump's right hand man, Mark Meadows, has been hidden for some time now...he will reappear soon...believe me, he will go down before trump does...donny will point all his fingers at everyone else but the one, that turns back on himself...

College football...the changing of schools thru the transfer portal is widespread....shoot, listen to the teams, that are being broadcast...this guys transferred..from...on and on...the kids move where they can play...well, there is this service that ranks players coming in like 5 stars, 4 stars, crap like that...the Ducks had a 5 star QB coming in...then Bo Nix announced he is coming back...and the 5 Star dude switched to UCLA...the player is from Michigan...now that UCLA is in the Big 16, he will play at home some games...just try and follow all this sort of stuff...

Let's turn back to the Holidays...I have Christmas music on lots...guess I am a softy...but I lurve it...the colors...the tree...the sounds...no better time of the year...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
