Designer Jeans



Still the rage?...designer jeans!...wasn't that long ago, you could spend over a $100 bucks for a pair of jeans...what?... some double that...I dunno kids, if you bought 'em at Costco, you could get some mighty fine ones, for under $20...the Horse?...still wears Levis...but get this...I wear shorts 98% of the time down here in south SoCal...and I am not kidding...that and flip flops...now I do have jeans, ready for the cold season...which is in December, I think...and some tennies...it's true, it is different weather in this area...so much diff from Orygun...

We have been here for about 17-18 years now...the condo living suits us...walk everywhere...24 hr security...good amigos...so close to mass transit, ie, 5 minutes to the airport...the longest drive I have is to the golf course, 25 minutes each way....and we are only on the 5th out of 35 floors...so we use the deck often...you know, not too high...the CVS is 3 blocks away...you are getting me drift...too convenient to move...and fore-mentioned, the weather is ideal...

The Friars handed game 1 to the Bums...not that LA didn't earn it...but, we started our no. 4 pitcher...who has had no luck against 'em in the regular season...and that trend continued...as you know, I am a 3 man rotation buff for the playoffs...and...for goodness sakes, the Bums are the best in the biz...

Elon Musk...well, is he or isn't he buying Twitter?...Fonny is anxiously awaiting...and the hot rumor, is that Elon is starting up a cologne business and can't find a name for it...

Dang if my FF team didn't get whupped again...even scored my most points...but, the 10 yr old opponent was better...have 2 waiver wire pickups I am hoping for...just checked and they are now in the Reign...

Some dandies this week in college football...Penn St at Michigan...Kansas at Oklahoma...Alabama at Tennessee...Oklahoma St at TCU...Clemson at Florida St...USC at Utah...all affect the Ducks ranking, who are idle...awaiting Chip's Bruins on the 22nd...

You following the LA City Council?...racism at it's worst...and this is the pattern we are facing...not just there...loose talk started at the top, and now filters down...everywhere...

In closing for today...the only problem with Levi's...is that it shows what size you are wearing...imagine a shirt that says FAT on the back...or shoes that say DOUBLE WIDE...or a cap that says PINHEAD...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
