Since U Been Gone


Ah, since I have been gone...what has happened?...the trip to Havasu, was a real gas...dependent on the petrol for sure...a huge $1.30 a gallon cheaper in the state of Arizona...A GALLON!...lord...made the mistake on the return trip to fill up in Blythe, which is in Cali...dumb dumb...oh well, the state needs it...for it's non-stop work on the roads?...right...yea, so, to answer the Q, what has happened?...

The Russian War is still on in Ukraine...as the people there have been putting up a valiant struggle...just wondering what form of military they actually had...you KNOW my feelings about what Putin is up to...this is his first step for notoriety...to  re-establish the old USSR...a martyr...on the same lines of what donny tried to do...except, his country allows much worse 'leadership'...Putin will do what he can, at all costs...which will probably lead to major skirmishes with NATO...probably worse...until his demise...that WILL happen...

We lucked out so much with the weather in Havasu...87*-90* temps...and some bodacious swimming in the RV resort's terrific pool...unfortunately, we were there too short of a time...next year, it will be a full week...we didn't even get onto the Lake this time around...the rental of a golf cart is highly recommended while there...adds so much to the experience...Sammi lurved the late night rides around the camp...so did we...

To make the trip even better, the book end stops at the mischievous Morrises and the meet ups with the Gahrs, made the vacay move lightning fast...too fast...BUT, it is always nice to be back home...

So, unbeknownst to us, there was a usage of the Petco Park baseball field last eve...since baseball is waning...the legendary Garth Brooks was having a concert...'Friends in Low Places'...as we had as cold a weather that this land has had in a while...heavy winds, too...have yet to hear the comments on it...

Yes, the winds affected the drive home, too...along with spotty rain...thought we were back in Orygun, again...they were probably getting the sunshine...in a reverse whip of the weather...

Gosh, rumor mill...that public workers throughout our great nation are dependent on retirement systems that the states dig up...there is this one in Kentucky...yup, that state....their Senators, the grand Mitch and the foo Paul....have much of the worker's money tied into a RUSSIAN Bank...their PERS...and took out their cash, the day BEFORE the USA cut the Russian Banks off...how do you spell I-N-S-I-D-E-R?...whatever, I gotta figure that this one is OK, as it is for the workers...what we don't know...

A spectacle...the final home game of the coach of the Duke Blue Devils...are there Red Devils?...anyhoo...Coach K had many of his former players there, to honor him...many are like stars, on the next level...(NBA)...duh...the ticket price to get in, was like at an average of $6 grand...no kidding...they were hosting their arch rival, UNC...who they whomped by 20 the meeting before...alas, the Blue Devils got beat...and ruined the occasion...some were ticked at the coaching!...ha ha....thing is, Duke does not shoot the rock well, North Carolina does...if it's a falling, a no brainer...no coaching needed...

Staying in hoops...the Lake Show beat the Golden St Warriors in LaLa Land last nite...LeBron had a blast from the past...hit for 56, and showed he can still do it...he was spot in...still, hate the Lakers...

Guess I gotta go one more time...Brittney Griner...a star in the WNBA...was detained (arrested) in Russia...many of the lady hoop stars play in Europe in their off season...she was playing for a Russian team...no kidding...as she had 'marijuana' vapes in her luggage...in Russia, this could be 10 years or so in prison...first of all, dumb of her to have them...2ndly, she needed to get out a month ago...and 3rdly, there are rumors that she will be used as fodder by Putin...here we go...

This just out...that the US State Department is advising American citizens to leave Russia 'immediately.'...and you are still there?...WTH?...see above...

And...these Senators are voting to refuse aide to Ukraine...Teddy Cruz and the foo Paul...why?...

Gonna leave you today with this...pay close attention to the military build up in Poland...ie us, and the rest of NATO...which is most of the World...and...what about Romania?...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
