The Lost Obsession


In the final week of the NFL regular season...the Horse kept bringing up the dual of the Chargers and the Raiders game in Vegas...winner is in, and the loser is out...wait, just a minute, buster...there was a caveat...if the game ends in a TIE, both will go to the playoffs...BOTH...the LOST OBSESSION of football...used to have them often...not so much anymore...

Seemed to be a forgone conclusion, as the Raiders had the game well in hand...yet, out of the blue, came the UO Alum, Justin Herbert...QB extraordinaire...who in the final stanza brought the Chargers back...to a TIE!...clutch play after another...and the game went to the OT, ah, overtime...

Sure, of course, the only scores the teams could muster...were the bloody FG's...field goals...plus, the time was running out...it appeared that BOTH teams would qualify, by this bizarre set up of a TIE...in the final 36 seconds of that happening...the HC of the Chargers took a drop dead TIME OUT!...which, according to the Raiders, after the game was over...changed their idea of what to do...in lieu of just falling on the ball and calling it good...they played for the win...and did so, via the bloody FG...

The Raiders are in and the Chargers are out...the team that waited for the outcome, the Steelers, are in...and we just sit back and scratch our heads, 'ah, what just happened?'...yea, so the Chargers left us high and dry...moved to squat in LA...yet, I was pulling for Herbert...and his guys...but the owner, Spanos?...hate the foo...

Tonight is the class of the collegiates...in their Natty game...another SEC match up game...ah, ha, the Tide gets points and are the dawgs...enuff for moi...take 'Bama and watch this one...actually, JCC...as we judge the D of Georgia, as that DC is our new HC at Orygun...boom Shaka Laka...

Just an awful newsbreak out of NYC....Brooklyn?...where at least 19 people died due to a fire in an apartment complex...started by a space heater, so they are saying...I often forget how much heat is necessary to survive in those climates...as we rarely turn our heater on, down here in south SoCal...about a month out of a year...

Gonna end with this...as the Horse has an early tee time...but it is now 'pink slip' time in the NFL...the head coaches that didn't make the playoffs...the rich bastard owners...do their thang...fire 'em, just like donny would...'what have you done for me lately?'...thus far, this am...the Bears, the Dolphins, and ?...keep the line a movin'....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
