How about that for a sarcastic Saturday!...MLB is nearing their highly publicized 'wild card' games...almost disregarding those teams that have won their divisions, outright...and get this, the 'wild card' games are just one!...imagine, in all of beisbol, the series goes at least 3...but, they change up and make this a one and done...stupid...what is this, high school?...where they indeed only play one game, and not a series...OK, should be a best of 3...get with it, MLB...and no, the listless Padres did not make it...horrific collapse...expect pink slips everywhere, but where it should go, the GM AJ Preller...yes, I am redundant on this...

Some dang good matchups in college football today...Oregon (giving 8) at Stanford...the Dawgs at OSU...Arkansas at Georgia...Michigan at Wisconsin...Cincy (favored?) at Notre Dame...Ol Miss at 'Bama...this will be a big weekend for movement in the Top 4...we shall see...well, might be...

Here in all of Cali, the Guv Newsom has given a mandate that all school age children shall be Covid vaccinated!...has that gone to the staff, too?....and for goodness sakes, all health care workers shall be, too...what is wrong with them?...is this not 180* diff from the bloke in Florida?...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
