A Debate

One of the most significant things that happened in my collegiate days...as I was developing my political roots...?...was the night that Robert Kennedy was taken from this earth by an assassin...devastating for me...as I had high hopes for him, during this electrically charged Vietnam era...which is a whole other story, but not for now...the killer, Sirhan Sirhan, was originally set for execution...but the state of Cali abolished that notion...and locked him up for good...ah, wait, perhaps not...

Parole...this is the debate point...when someone has been sentenced to death...and now can actually be freed after many years of incarceration...does that seem appropriate to you?...the 2nd debatable point...does a person actually get rehabilitated in prison?...is this a political issue?...or a self rights one?...

Regardless, Sirhan will be set free...as a parolee...as long as there are no more 'roadblocks' that come up...and, I'm sure the questions will surge...how do you feel about this?...

Retaliation...for the bombs that killed many in Afghanistan...US soldiers amongst them...and Prez B threatened and carried out an attack...to center on the ISIS killers...it won't be long before we are gone...and that country ERUPTS in civil war...ah, again...can the Taliban actually set up a ruling factor...other than by intimidation?...on a lesser, but intriguing note...if you haven't seen the flick 'Argo', you must...a precursor to what might end up happening in Afghanistan...

The Lexus rehab is done...completed...picked it up yesterday...the price was not nearly as steep as I thought it would be...and there it is, good for another 100,000 miles...I have 114 on it now...after 17 years...nobody can believe it is that old...and I heard another tidbit...these GX 470's are now a 'hot commodity'...as the peops who buy them, trick them out...they are collector's dream machines...

Did you see the score that DeChamboo put up in the PGA playoffs?...a 60!...man, under pressure...and shoots that low...missed a 6 footer for a 59...too much pressure...right...just as amazing, Rory came out of hiding and is in the hunt...this after he tossed his 3 wood onto a highway in disgust...they are not made out of wood anymore...duh...3 metal...

The mighty Padres won in Anaheim...whew...needed a win, any win...in the worst way...white washed the Angels...way cool...almost W alliteration...

Did you know that parallel lines never meet?...no intersection ever...kind of how I feel about the Democrats and Republicans right now...

The so called Caldor Fire, in northern Cali...is fast approaching Lake Tahoe...rain is needed...in the very worst way...moving from the south...
