The Return

Morning all, we are back!...had a brief, but fun trip up north to see the kids and their kid...the grand son...er, grandson...must say that it is a very exciting time for them...as the good Dr is opening up his brand new office, very, very soon...in Montecito...a short block down from where the original office stands...

The last nite we stayed a few miles away at the Carpenteria St Park...right on the beach...which turned out to be a prob...they had wind storms and surging...as the sand had covered up all the hook up things that we needed....ah, the latrine hole...whatever that is called...so, we had to go on a digging expedition...hunting for treasure...ha ha...without a shovel...luckily, the bloke next door, had one...he had to do the same...20 minutes or so later, we had the 'hole'...had to shove the hose down probably 10 ft, to clear a passage way...enough info on this...we got er going...

Yes, I promptly ordered a collapsible shovel from Amazon...which, BTW, was already here by the time we got home...another thing, you don't think about...

THEN, it rained most of the nite...so, the hole we dug out, was either full of water, or had turned to mud...and I had an 8 am dental appt...thru all this, it took an hour plus to unhook and get on our way, back to Montecito...let's just say, it is good to be home...albeit, it rained half of the way, the time that Marsh took the wheel...she is getting mighty fine at the commandeering Cosmo...

Have you got your stimulus check yet?...ah, got a memo from Snooki...and he was right on...to check when ya'll are gonna get it, check the US Gov website...it will walk you through the info....and tell you when it is coming...ours to be here mañana...

Speaking of Gov...Deb Haaland was confirmed for the Secretary of the Interior...yes, she is Native...and a former student of a friend of ours...so now, we take this over...the VP next, and then the whole world!...hey, do you know what the job entails?...manages public lands and minerals, national parks, and wildlife refuges and upholds Federal trust responsibilities to Indian tribes and Native Alaskans...so much for donny Q getting his bust on the mountain top...

Disgusting to the nth degree...with the hypocrisy of the Catholic Church and their priests and their problems...the fact that a couple of that faith, has to go to counseling with the unwed priest...is a joke in itself...which we did...now, the church is saying that they don't recognize the wed of same sex peops...good LORD!...

The Big Dance listed their combatants...both the gents and the ladies...all of the Orygun and OSU teams got in...the top ranked team from our area, SDSU, takes on Syracuse...normally, I fill in a bracket or two...now, I don't really care...JCC...I did see that UCSB is in it, too...

Late add...Minnesota has fired their hoops coach, after 8 years...the Pitino kid...and yup, already the pundits are talking up the SDSU coach, Brian Dutcher, as the heir apparent...

JT came out of the pack and won the Players...yup, did not get to see much of it...but, Lee Westwood, came in 2nd...for the 2nd straight week...too bad, but NOT for his pocket book...

Lee, is playing Augusta (The Masters) with his son in the practice rounds...then, the young man, will caddie for him, x-ing out the girl friend...got this?...cool...are they allowing fans in?...

The Brooklyn Nets are prob the team to beat...and I, the Horse, hate 'em...hate I tell ya...

Speaking of another mess...the Batchelor...we all make mistakes, dude...ya think you shouldn't have talked to her about the college thang?...he is shallow, and I say, that she caught a break...as a person of color, I am beyond this all...this series is running scared...of it...

Well, it's good to be back home...even though it is windy and cold...really...like down to 50* and 42* out at Sycuan...
