Make Up Monday

As I think back to me working days...the clean up, was always on a Monday...the loose ends, tied back up...what was left over on Friday...well, now they were put back together...the best laid plans...now a reality...thing is, in the now...there is no Friday...days are all the same...I know, this is a bit morose, but damn it all, a truth...so, kids, do the best you can at picking yourself back up...start a new...make that, anew...figure out a pattern to make you and yours, happy...seek the future...I know, it is hard to do...but, it is a must...

Nothing like a pep talk to start off a week, right?...

In our quest to improve our daily lot...we ordered an electric bike pump...and now, we see how worthy it actually is...you have to plug it in...get power...and voila...supposedly, the tires get inflated...to the pressure you set...it will be a learning curve, I am sure...

Snooki's song of the day...'Running on Empty' by Jackson Browne...geez, more of the same talk, that I gave in the opening paragraph...great lick, tho, dude...as he prepares for a Dr. visit...

Speaking of that sort of thang...my son, the Dentist...is back at work...in prep for opening up his practice...with every single precautionary thing at his disposal...just so scary, to deal with human beings...

That last sentence, sounded so odd...it has come down to that...

Yes, my good readers...I really don't talk in sentences and paragraphs...the bloody 3 dots...separate and culminate me ideas...it's a Horse way of communicating...please excuse my ignorance...

The Futures are slightly down this am...how can they NOT be?...stop it...

As I was sitting on the couch yesterday, a bit past 3 pm...I felt an earthquake...the little lady, questioned my sanity...the couch moved and swayed, I tell ya...at 3:30. there was a memo out, 'did you feel it?'...yes, indeed, there was one at 3:07...centered in Ocotillo Wells...a 4.5 magnitude one...

Hey, kids...an early tee time...so, off I go...see ya mañana...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
