The stock market was definitely in UNKNOWN waters, yesterday...actually had to shutter for a bit...as the downfall was legendary...-2000 points!...PANIC, of course...those with the big scratch, leading the pack...if you follow the Futures, expect a rebound...but, NOT the same as the fall...it was +800...don't you dare look at your portfolio...
Going to try to get out of the gloom and doom...as I was yesterday...couldn't help it...as all the signs pointed me in that direction...I guess I wanted to brace you for what was going to occur...and it did...
The mini-Super Tuesday is upon us...not sure why they call it that...Super Tuesday is over...maybe, 6 pack Tuesday would be better...as there are six states going to the polls...the one the 3(?) want the most?...Michigan...gotta feelin' it is the Biden Show from here on out...but, gosh, I have been wrong before...let's see where this goes...shoot, anything to get our minds off of the virus...
The mighty Padres were in a donnybrook with the hated Bums...like locked into a 1-1 game thru 6 in the desert...and then POOF!, the blue went crazy and scored 10 more runs in a couple of innings...hate that...any time...any where...
The collegiate hoops tourney (s)...the Pac 12, the Mountain, and the Gonzaga league...ha ha...they always win whatever that is called...for the guys...the big games always seem to have the same officiating crew...is it that they are so good, or, is there a lack of quality refs?...perhaps, the latter...
One more point on that...the lack of exposure, of these west coast teams...makes it way hard to get to the Big Dance, UNLESS you win the conference T...in essence, it is a one and done for many of the teams...true dat...
Speaking of refs...ha ha...for some reason in the Trib...for the NBA games...they quit printing or listing, all the technical fouls called...apparently, it took up too much space...
The 'right' to vote...when a good turnout is about 50%, it makes me wonder...only half of the eligible voters will do so?...shut up, when it comes to money allocations...and leadership...if you don't even bother to mark down what YOU think....just shut up...
Thinking about 50%...only 1/2 the USA actually pay taxes, too...here I go again...seems to me, that if you don't pay tax, then you can't vote...LOL...that is probably what happens anyhoo...I digress...

The Voice...listen, kids...I am not a fan of the entirety of it...I do like the initial turn around episodes...the rest of it, is mindless drivel...has there ever been a 'star' come out of this production?...watched it last eve, and was it just moi, but didn't Blake look big time bored?...

OK...went into studies Ville...last eve...checking out alternatives to COX cable...AT&T and Youtube TV, were the clear possibles...it appears that a combo of the latter, may be the answer...AT&T for the fiber opt connection for the internet...about 100 dollah...and then $80 for the YouTube...which sports about 70 HD channels...hmmm, who hooks up the net?...moi?...geez...well, first, I am gonna call COX this am...and give them one last chance to keep me...what deal can they come up with?...

Finally, we lost a very good friend yesterday...Cliff Corn...he was my teacher, then a fellow teach, a buddy horse handicapper, a golfing mate, a huge supporter in my coaching days, and just generally, a sports nut...and a great guy...he will be missed...
