Calm Down, Kids

The gloves were OFF last eve for the South Carolina Demo debate...attack was the mode...in lieu of saying what they could do, they were in the 'what you can't do' one...just CALM DOWN, KIDS!...of course, the leader up to this point, Bernie, got the most jabs...'do the math'...oh my...and what got into Eliz?... she went ballistic on Bloomberg...Joe was ticked at everything...even had over 150 million USA peops dying due to gun violence...well, his figure may be a bit off...Mayor Pete was more impressive by what he didn't say, as he looked bewildered by the audacious comments of Bloomberg...which were to be blunt, crazy...as much as I like Amy, she is too far out of it, to make this bid happen...and the other rich dude, Tom, made sense, but is too, on the outside looking in...

My take?...Bernie and Joe are the leaders...but I still harbor this thought...more time should be spent on what they are going to do to take on Trump...rather than on each other...point out the many fallacies of the orange regime...keep pushing the issues...get the Demos aroused and ready to VOTE...more of what we saw last night, is not the answer...and Lordy, get that Bloomberg off the stage...I know I said this before, but I am not sure he is from this planet...delusional...

NBA...2 games peaked my interest...the first was the LaLa Lake Show hosting the JV Lakers, the Pelicans....as New Orleans is made up of former Lakers...and Zion...the number 1 draftee...who, is in fact, still a kid...as the real Lakers handled them with ease...LeBron and the Brow dominated...the other was the Blazers hosting the Celtics...Dame is still out, but that is not the point...Boston continually ran the high pick and roll...and got free shots...as the inept and frustrating coaching of the Portland team, just let the Celts take that shot over and over and over...uncontested...had to finally turn it off...somebody has to teach the hedge to this foo...after 9 years of being the boss at PDX, I think his time has come...pink slip, please...

SDSU in a rebound game with Colorado St...both teams play excellent defense...see above, ahem...went down to the wire, but the Aztecs prevailed...did not shoot the rock well, but half of that had to do with the Rams D....yup, it is that good...not sure of the name of the coaching dude of them...but, he should be on the rise...66-60...

The Stock Market took another huge hit yesterday...almost 2,000 points in a couple of days...egads...the Futures say a rebound...but, for the life of moi, I don't understand anything of this...nuttin...zilch...nada...

CBS ran the debate last eve...was it just me, or were they just turrible?...the moderators were pushy and ineffective...maybe, out of their element...imagine them trying to corral Trump...ha ha ha ha...

I am the one still saying, that he may NOT debate any of the Demos...well, the candy man or woman...he being Trump...mark my words...so relax, CBS, you may not have to deal with it with your contingency...you USED to have Cronkite and Rather...not any more...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
