Stunned

Stunned and then saddened...as the word came out that KOBE BRYANT had died...the earliest flashes were sketchy...so quickly were on the web net...helicopter crash...then, it got worse...his daughter also, perished...as did 3 'others'...fears were it was his entire family...then, the sheriff's spokesman, said it there were 9 on board...all gone...no survivors...I had tears in my eyes, as I do right now...writing about it...such a tragedy...listen all, hug your family tightly...

I will not do any elaboration to this...there are no better words of sorrow that can befit such an occurrence...other than...may they all ...Rest In Peace...

The Farmers was a donny brook...as the Aussie came out of the pack and hung on for the W over the Spaniard, Jon Rahm...Marc Leishman...his putting was brilliant...and deserved the victory...have I told you that Torrey is long?...ha ha...

Up in the PNW, the Lady Ducks completed the sweep of the Beavers...establishing themselves as the team to beat in the Pac 12...finally found the game on ESPN News...the disaster and it's coverage moved the channel it was carried on...

SDSU escaped in Vegas with their 21st straight win!...knew it would be a beaut...by 4...listen, kids, the streak continues...amazing!...

So many of the NBA games have been halted to honor Kobe...it is justified...and necessary...

The NFL Pro Bowl was on the tele, yesterday too...did you watch it?...yup, me neither...

What on earth are the Republican Senators gonna do with John Bolton?...hear him out, or tune him out?...if the answer to that were up to Trump, he'd be silenced, I reckon...we will see the next few days what that might be...any of you Repub Senators just a bit incensed?...let's hope so...just takes 4 to bolt from the pack...

UO guys hammered the UCLA Bruins, in one of their best games of the season...the Ducks must get more players involved in the scoring to win the league...so says moi...like yesterday's effort...

I ordered the new Little Big Town album on vinyl...gosh, it wouldn't play correctly on my turntable...got a replacement disc sent out...same problem...packaged them back up and were about to send them back...then had a brain storm...maybe these are to be played on 45 rpm...went down and got the package back...tried it and voila!...worketh...when did these big vinyls go to 45 instead of 33?...

Love playing the vinyls...slows my world down...

Very little info on this...3 missiles hit our embassy in Baghdad...yesterday...by whom?...in the midst of extreme rioting in that country...

This is another one of those head scratchers...the Futures were down BIG this am...reason given was the coronavirus...what?...really?...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed...
