Bowling

Things went mighty fast yesterday...as the Ducks won the rights to the Rose Bowl...got a call from the PNW Guru, that he has tix to the game for us...I was all in...so, had to find a hotel the nite prior...done...close to the stadium...he had to get airplane tix to get here...done...whew...all within a couple of hours...now, we have to hear the official word that it is, what it is...and who UO plays in the game...gonna be either Penn St or Wisconsin...

Something that NOBODY is talking about prior to the Bowl season...after the Final 4 is announced later this day...oh yea, figure it will be LSU, Ohio St, Clemson, and Oklahoma...who cares about the order now...to win the crown you have to win 2 games...HOWEVER, the rest of the myriad of bowl games...the 'star' players have reservations about playing in them...and SOME don't, to protect themselves from injury, and chances at the NFL...so....

There are pools that are all over the place...pick the winners of the 50+ bowl games...good luck, as there could be some teams drastically changed due to the non-participants...hmmm, don't blame the players from sitting the game out...I guess...think about that...assuming that they are NOT getting paid playing college football (ha ha, really?)...they WILL in the next level...

These Bose ear buds are all that...as good as the headphone types...maybe better...if you are thinking about getting a pair, I say don't hesitate...there are others out there...loads of brands...and I don't have a clue...probably the Apple ones are good...I never tried them...these were cheaper...if you are a skeptic, don't be...

Lost in the talk about improving MLB teams by the player hunting that is going on...signing, trading, extending contracts and on and on...loads of money thrown about here and there...is this tidbit that should NOT be ignored...that 40-50 minor league teams (and leagues) will be closed down...yes, the single A franchises will be kaput...imagine that, Salem Oregon...no Volcanoes...at least in the format that is there now...no affiliation with a big league team....as the Major League Baseball says it is a cost saving measure...hmmm...really?...so where do all those players go?...seems bizarre to me...

The shootings on the Pensacola Military Base...ah, just why do we have Saudi's there?...is there some form of an agreement that we have to help train them?...call me confused...who is 'ordering' this?...wonder what the military says about that...

This upcoming week shall be an extraordinary time for the Impeachment Process...fully expect the Tweetstorm to ERUPT from the Donald...name calling, slanderous statements, anything to divert attention from the reality of what is about to happen...his Impeachment...brace yourselves, kids...

So we have a glut of oil...too much...think that the oil companies will pass on the price of gas, to us...er, the USA...lower it like they should...right...nope...there is so much going on behind the doors, that we have no idea what is really happening...make you a bit nervous?...should...

Ready for some football?...about time to turn on the pixels to the Red Zone...which, by the way, appears to be the thing that MANY pro football fans are doing...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed...
