Crazy Daze

You want your college football?...you GOT it...absolutely CRAZY DAZE!...unlike week one, where the scoring was within reason...not so much yesterday...as the haves and have nots really, like really, separated themselves...ballistic scoring, and some head scratchers...here we go...

I must start with the day game of games...Army at Michigan...David and Goliath...so mismatched that the point spread appeared to be 'not enough'...but, the heart of the Cadets can not be measured as such...took the home team, and perhaps 100,000 Wolverine fans to task...I couldn't stop watching the fray...as it went to double OT, before Michigan won it...so odd, to watch the players go CRAZY in their W...maybe they knew, how tough that Army group really was...

The Aztecs of San Diego State...traveling up to LaLa to take on the ultra curious UCLA Bruins...sporting a 2nd year 'legendary' coach, Chip Kelly...SDSU has NEVER, EVER, beat the Bruins in football...nunca...not anymore...the O woke up...the D is solid...there you go again, HC Rocky Long comes up with another mysterious winning club, the NOBODY talks about...oh yea, the crowd there was sparse at best...

And now, the blow outs...so many of them...the worst could have been my fav, the Ducks...with a very odd beginning to the Nevada game...it was 7-6 early on...UO was making mistakes and it was like 'here we go again'...and then...all Hell broke loose...10 touchdowns later, it was a 77-6 win!...CRAZY...as the starters were pulled in the mid 3rd...and the subs continued the onslaught...almost embarrassing...I thought it was 7-10 point game...Alabama scored lots...Arizona did, too...South Carolina in a romp...Maryland of all teams, too...of course, Ohio St...and Oklahoma running all over Dakota...Kansas St, ah what?...OMG, Indiana?...geez, Wisconsin laid 61 on Central Michigan...the Cougs posterized N Colorado...ah, that's not fair...hey, the list goes on and on...mismatches, that are downright deflating...and as my good fellow from the great PNW told me, 'they are getting good money' to get their arses handed to them...so, it's all about the cash?...

OK, the upsets...not many of them...UDub got beat in the wee hours of the am, up in Seattle to the Cal Bears...really?...the lightning game that was delayed like forever...BYU beat Tennessee in 2 OT's, signaling a mid season firing of the Vol's coach...AND, gulp...Hawaii shut down the Beavs...after OSU scored 28 in the 1st half...came back and upset 'em....hey, no commentary...just the facts, man...

The NFL starts today...the Horse has NO fantasy football team, like forever...just this season, as I will return for the next...in honor of Hdcp Andy...a personal thing...it's weird as I have no idea who is playing who....er, should that be whom?...gosh, I get that messed up all the time...

The mighty Padres broke their 4 gamer losing streak...shutting out the Rockies...3-0...kind of getting to the point of Jimmy Crack Corn...

'Sharpiegate'...could be the greatest snafu of the year...wait, naw, he's got so many more months to top that...I have faith that he will find greater things to screw up, or try to coverup...

The little things...we have the AC off...the cool fresh air feels so good...

One of my 'New Year Resolutions'...was to take it easy on Trump...to stop making fun of the bloke...try to find something to support that he has done...I have to be completely honest...I could never do this...and I lied, too...it was not a resolution...more of a revolution...geez, it even got me in trouble with the Travato group...have I been kicked out?...

'But the economy is strong'...ah, not for you or moi...the rich cats, yea...wait, that COULD be you...if you own a plane...or have your own multi-million dollar biz...or own a NFL team...YOU are doing well...

Is it true that Trump has moved 'Camp David' to his New Jersey golf course and renamed it 'Camp Donny?'....
