Hey Hey, it's the weekend!...time to sleep in (not)...take the boat out to the bay (no boat)...fire up the grill (the home won't let us have a charcoal one)...sit down with a cup of Joe and read the paper (not arrived)...turn on some new music (there is none)...ah, shoot, it's still Saturday...FRANKLY, my dear, I don't give a damn what the negatives are...

The hot topic everywhere in my reading span of web net sites...is...that the dude who allegedly used gals (all ages) for sex for a lot of....himself and some very rich type of friends....Jeffrey Epstein...committed suicide in the Manhattan jail he was locked up in...hmmm, this was his 2nd, and final attempt...successfully...do you find it odd, that this was done?...don't they put a guy like this on a suicide watch?...I dunno, I see it on the pixels all the time...

Speaking of Trump, wasn't I?...he has signed on to a (another?) very controversial movement in Alaska...after meeting with that states Governor...he is giving the OK to allow a humongous mining project there...basically dealing a blow to the national park like setting in the area...known for some of the best salmon IN THE WORLD...a national habitat...the almighty dollar is behind this...something that the real Prez (Obama) would NOT ALLOW...are you listening Repubs?...this guy is your leader...

One more Trumpism...as he visited the sites of the massacres...he tiptoed thru the masses of people waiting to give him what he deserves...especially in El Paso...instead, does a bee line to the hospitals where the victims are...and poses for pix with them...smiling and giving the thumbs up...what a _____!...in contrast, when Prez O had to endure the same type of horror...he was shown holding people as they cried...trying to comfort them...180* of leadership, or lack thereof...and, of course, after the trying day of visitations, Donny took off for a golf weekend...he needed a break...I can't make this shit up...

Golf...the PGA dudes are in Jersey at their season ending set of T's...DJ, and get this, Jordan Spieth!, are 1-2 after the first 2 rounds...Spieth has had a horrific year, and the culprit has been his 3rd rounds...fingers crossed that he does well today, this Saturday...a couple of unsettling things...a vid of Bryson DeChambeau, taking over a minute and half! lining up a putt...that he missed...HIT THE BALL!...and Rory McIlroy, doing what they can do now, toss a pebble out of the way in the bunker...thing is, what he thought was a pebble, was a clump of sand...self imposed...and the bloody golf ref assessed him a 2 stroke penalty!...ah, a hardened clump of sand is a pebble...give me a break...or, Rory...
BREAKING...the PGA rescinded the ruling on McIlroy...bueno, dudes...

OK, from out of nowhere...but how often should you change the oil in your car?...I was told...depends on your car's engine (not Injun)....some say 3,000 miles, some 6,000, and some say 10,000...ah what?...some say you should be using synthetic oil...I dunno...really, I dunno...

Here's a fun fact...well it is to me and for those of you who have known me for like 60 years...hmmm, this is true...I was reading a column about the stars of San Diego, played right here, that were right fielders...and had a rocket for an arm, defensively....hang in there, Ill get to the point...comparing blokes from the past, to the present day slinger, Hunter Renfroe...

One of the names was my favorite, all time idol as a kid, Rocky Colavito!...what?...he played in San Diego?...the year was 1956...the San Diego Padres were part of the minor league AAA Pacific Coast League...which included the Portland Beavers, too...anyhoo...the Padres were an affiliate of the Cleveland Indians (grrr)...so, right before Rocky hit the bigs, he pranced around in Gawd's Country for a season...

The mighty Padres won the 2nd straight game right over at Petco last eve...listen, we haven't done that since the AS break....7-1...how about 3 in a row?...

Bizarre...the ongoing saga of Antonio Brown...once a star with them Pitt Steelers in the NFL...and a whiz on the dance floor of Dancing With The Stars...now, an Oakland (soon to be Vegas) Raider...and has been a featured bloke on 'Hard Knocks'...he is like way fast...but traveling with him is a set of caution flags...his feet are beat up...and he has this desire to wear an old out dated football helmet...if the league won't let him, then he won't play....ah, what?...and...he doesn't always practice (practice?, AI)....

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed...
