St Patrick's Day

Cheers to you all, you blimeys...something like that...this be the celebration date of the passing of Saint Patrick...like in the 400's...really...talk about a festivity that has tested the length of time...which has turned into a good natured day of fun...wear your green, or get pinched...I didn't, so I would...just kidding...many of the Irish heritage take this time, very seriously...the rest of us...just join in...drink some green beer, and eat some cabbage and sausages...there is even a bloke who changes a river in Chicago, to green...ah, the celebratory phenomena...just thinking, we should have such a day for the passing of Crazy Horse...turn the color of the San Diego River, red...hmmm, maybe not, not such a good look...I digress...regardless, let's enjoy ST PATRICK'S DAY!...

Speaking of green...out of nowhere came the Ducks...to win the Pac 12 T in Vegas...totally throttling the Dawgs...as UO has turned it ON at the end of the regular season...quite frankly kids, this is a very average team...in a very below average league...as UW is not very good...just being honest...BUT, the win garners the green and yellow a Big Dance Ticket...and that is way cool...there might NOT be another Pac 12 team in it...yowser....

Not as fortunate, were the Aztecs of SDSU...as they were beaten in the finals of the MWC T, also in Vegas...Utah St won it...and that should be the end of the road for them...maybe a NIT bid, I dunno...yet, a nice run at the title, tho...and this...I'm not sure that the Mountain is not as good as the Pac 12...might be better overall...really...when was the last time, one could seriously say that?...

To finish off the hoops...Duke beat Florida St...Zion is back and is dominate...yup...but, I will say this to all of you who punch tickets in your brackets...the top 4 in the ACC are dang good...any one of them could be cutting the nets down at the end...the aforementioned 2, and Virginia and North Carolina...something says to not sleep on the Seminoles...

Staying in the Florida state of mind...at Ponte Vedra Beach...the Island Green T...there's that color again...the Players...looks to be a 4 horse race...out of the pack, came Jon Rahm...to take over the lead...along with Fleetwood Mac...and a real dark horse, Jason Day...alas, kids, these blokes are all foreigners...well, I know at least 3 of them NOW live in the USA...hey, Trump send your ICE dudes over and have them checked out...yea right, they probably all play for free at his Terra Lago private course...

The weather  down here in SoCal...I have complained about it for like 6 weeks...true dat...but, yesterday it was wunnerful...finally...71* and warm, baby, warm...and fingers crossed, but THAT may happen this week, too...

What is this mess that Trump has been hammering about with the recently deceased Sen John McCain?...has he no shame?...yea, no...what am I saying?...of course he doesn't...move on Donny...you will be dodging the Mueller Report soon enough...

Finally...one of the funniest moments I have seen in competitive golf...was with the two golfers, Kevin Na and Tiger Woods...on that Island Green, the 17th...where both made birdies...and Na almost reached in to get his ball before it hit the bottom of the cup...Woods laughed like all did...then Tiger made his putt and did the SAME thing...they left the green with tremendous smiles on their faces...it was...GRAND!...
