A Peek At Reality

The fires...are continuing on...now, there are 3 major ones in California...we need to step back and think about...the loss of everything you own...imagine what those people are going through...DEVASTATION!...doesn't take much to start it, and the stopping of them...with these high winds...is near impossible...Mother Nature, partly...who lights them, certainly not...

Trump thinks that there is blame to be had...that the forest service is not prepared properly....listen, I could go on and on about who is truly unprepared...and it starts right there in the White House...what he needs to say and do, he is incapable of doing so...I am totally convinced...yes, now we wait out the next two years of this...inferno of attempted country management...

We could sense the feelings out there in the high wind...as we were on the golf course, in East County...thankful that there is NO SMOKE in it...and, at the same time, fully aware that it would not take much to change that...

I mentioned the interview of Michele Obama by Robin Roberts yesterday...felt her anger and frustration with the present regime...the name calling and blame...towards Prez O...but, to be fair...I thought about this over the nite...when Robin asked her, if Trump's present wife, Melania, had called her for any First Lady's clues, she responded she hadn't...with a mocking face...the next question should have been, did you call President Bush's wife?...

What a dire day for the Stock Market...down 602 points in the DOW...this is based on what?...can we count on a rebound today?...is this an indicator of the volatility of our leadership?...or, does it have no bearing?...listen, he takes full credit for the good times...thus, ....

The Horse has been saying that this is the season that...the Golden St Warriors WILL NOT win the championship...with the present lineup...they are highly susceptible to pressure defenses...and get this, are combustible...yea, and I lurve the way they move and pass the rock...but other teams, are finding ways to combat that...

Case in point, the upstart Clip Joint of LaLa...who has changed their lineup from a decent 3some of Griffin, Jordan, and CPIII, to a gaggle of newbies...one in particular is a STAR on the rise...a 20 yr old kid, that played his one year at Kentucky....Shai Gilgeous-Alexander...really, that's his name...a Canadian...anyhoo, they pushed the Warriors around last nite, and got a W in OT....

The team that gets no respect...the Rodney Dangerfield of the Collegiates...the WSU Cougars...sporting a one loss record...and holds the banner for the representative to the Final 4 from the West Coast...I, for one, like what I see when they play...innovative...but, dang if the committee won't put a Big 10 (14) in that last spot...Michigan or Ohio St....done deal...

Don't get me started on fan voting for the reality shows...they NEVER show the numbers!...hey, are they sending the tabulation of the votes to Florida for a count?...hmmm, Cheryl and her partner were eliminated last eve, with countless perfect scores by the judges...the public, apparently, felt otherwise...and Bobby Bones dances (?) on...ha ha...American Idol and the Voice...same crap...c'mon...try being transparent...

Kirstjen Nielsen is OUT as Sec of Homeland Security...my numbers are now...38! who have been fired, resigned, or were asked to get out...be so proud, Donny....

CNN has filed a suit against the White House to get their reporter, Jim Acosta, his WH credentials back...in a Federal Court...wait, shouldn't that be against Trump?...or, is that the White House?...I am confused...

The beat goes on and on and on...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed...
