Stormy Times

Not THAT Stormy, kids...but the hurricanes on both coasts...both were downgraded...yet still, have impact on the people and land beneath...the one in Maui, was selective...lots of rain, and I am glad that we put off our trip 'til Saturday...the east coaster, is said to be a Cat 2...I'm sure you will see lots of coverage this day...it too, will carry HUGE amounts of rain...and the latest I am reading, possible tornadoes...absolutely terrifying...

In all of the preparedness, your guy Trump, couldn't stay on script...talk about the efficiency of the local governments, the Coast Guard, FEMA, and him...he needed to bring up the recent catastrophe in Puerto Rico...ranking his efforts as superior...something like that...and today?...he adds that the numbers of people who died there, due to the storm and the aftermath...is NOT what is reported at almost 3,000!...they are lying, fueled by our Democrats to 'make him look bad'...listen, Donny, nobody HAS to make you look bad...

My background for me blog is the place where we live here in San Diego...the Pinnacle...35 stories...and is a totally different life style change...which I have written about before...situated 5 blocks from the infamous 5th Avenue and the notorious Gaslamp Quarter...of the past...our first place we lived here, was right on 5th...it has been so different to walk out the door and have so many possibilities all around you...oh yea, and for you beisbol junkies, the home of the Padres, Petco Park, is 8 blocks away...there you go...

The upcoming mid terms are as volatile as ever before...the significance of the changing of power in Congress...especially in the Senate...looms large in the coffin of the White House...as the word 'IMPEACH' is bantered about more and more, if the Demos surge ahead...last night, a 'leaked' comment from an influential Republican...we will call it anonymous...that there is 'MAYHEM' throughout the country...in the possible voting patterns...

OK, let's do a bit of this and that...

I have raved about our trips to Nashville...the south's version of Las Vegas...minus the casinos...and have heard the Uber, Lyft and Cabbie drivers all rant about the growth of the city...the numbers are out...it grew by 100 people A DAY!...

My FF team...still hurting from the 0.3 point disastrous loss...made some changes, ie dumping my fav QB, Mariota...I can't have two brittle guys at that spot...listen, I can still pull for them, I just can't have them on MY team...what?...so, I pick up the QB from the Bengals...I dunno, I dunno...

The hardest thang to do right now?...NOT read 'FEAR'...as I have got that for the Maui trip...yes, I went into it for 50 or 60 pages...oh my, what we have got into?...if you are one of the 34% that are blind faith believers in him...and you WANT to stay that way...don't come close to the book...

If you like dramatic beisbol...it happens at this time of the elongated MLB season...no better stuff than the Milwaukee Brewers and da Chicago Cubbies...battling it out for numero uno in their division...I am a closet Brew Crew, as I had Cecil Cooper on me fantasy teams way back...and I lurve their logo...reading this back, I missed the closest one to moi...the chaotic west, where the Bums, Buddy's Rockies, and the DBacks are in a nail biter...

DWTS...that's Dancing With The Stars...announced their cast for the 27th season, I believe...ah hem...not sure if I recognize many of the 'stars', other than Mary Lou Retton, and the star of the 'Bachelors in Paradise', Grocery Store Joe...the real stars are the dancers, and yes, Cheryl is back...

Didn't this kneeling thing start with Tim Tebow?...oops, different reason...
