Thursday Tidbits

Right about now you are a wondering why we are so lucky?...we have weathered a most provocative Prez, probably of all time...the country appears to be running as usual...the stock market is as volatile as ever, yet still giving us positive dividends...go figure...Congress has backed off from going ballistic on most everything...that is presented...there is no panic in the streets, that many feared...the promises of redealing, 'the awful trade deals' of the past regime...so far, have not come to fruition...and we have yet to see the grandiose building of what Trump is truly known for...his wall...

However, his wailing thru the source of Twitter...is monumental...firing off the cuff remarks made are non-presidential...often, embarrassing...maybe, as some may say, 'it is entertaining!'...so we do, what we can...sit back every single morning...read my eleven sources of information...marvel at what is said and happening...and watch 'the ____ Show...'

Last night here at the home, we had a panel of people in the know, discuss for us...the problem of the Homeless in San Diego...there were a couple of blokes who gave us the 'Theoretical' side of the issue...it is called an issue, right?...how their hands are tied by the ACLU and the Judicial System...that the Mayor is asking for more money to deal with this...ah hem, to be used for what?...more housing?...any housing...what I did find out...is that there are eleven (there is that number again) churches who feed the homeless...well, the simple truth is, if there wasn't the food, they'd be gone...harsh reality...

The other guys on the panel, were the taskmasters...the Police and what we call 'Clean and Safe'...who really deal with the problem on a daily basis...what they can and can not do...I guess what we all want, is to be safe...listen, kids, it's a problem throughout the US of A...not just here...

Were there any solutions given?...nope...just 'trust us', we are working on it...

POTUS is trying to steer clear of the meeting held in his Tower, with Donald Jr and the Russians...well, a lawyer from there...back in'16, right after he got the Repub nod...as I have mentioned before...Donald Jr seems to have forgotten if he told the results of the meeting, to his daddy, or not...he just can't remember...

I was reading the online Statesman...and saw this tidbit...the one and only Stormy Daniels is going to make an appearance in Salem, Orygun tomorrow!...at the Stars Cabaret...Snooki, get there and give a personal account to the show...maybe pictures for us all...

The Michael Cohen Saga...the deeper you dig, the more you get...on Trump's attorney....the latest?...bucks from Qatar...the hits just keep right on a coming...

Despite the logjam of the bride's family, the Royal Wedding, will go on over the Pond...the pomp and circumstance...many peops just love this...

Look Nelson, 'NO SPORTS TODAY!'...

'Congrats America, we are in the second year of the greatest Witch Hunt in the history of America...'...guess who?...and guess the Witch....

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
