Monday Muddiness

How understanding are you on the move of the USA Embassy to Jerusalem?...a good move?...a questionable one?...well, if you ask the Palestinians there...you would have a definite answer...as they are protesting it, in waves...Israel is dealing with that...in a most stern method...the reports are that 37 (now 45) dead and over 900 wounded or injured!...there are just so many ideas and moves that our POTUS can make...without the Congress voting on it...was this move one of them?...

So...what is the outcome?...will it subside and no more problems arise?...NO!, not now...as the Palestinians are dedicating this week to their 'Great March of Return'...their motto to remind themselves of the forced move they had to make...when Israel was formed and took over the land...May 15, 1948...there will be continual clashes at the Gaza...

The new embassy will be just a part of the issue...which, will take almost 8 years to make?...maybe a decade...the timing of the change is significant...this, kids, is combustible...

Getting back into my view of the sporting world...egads, I did not even fathom that the Celtics could put a licking like that on the Cavs...defending them like no other...and rendering LeBron and his mates, helpless...one team prepared, one team not...James's history shows that he will rebound...I dunno...it was mano y mano, and Boston was FAR superior...

Webb Simpson won the Players...in grand fashion...had a 6 stroke lead going to 18...and needed that amount, as he leaked oil finishing up...no prob...the chasers, included Tiger...who at one time got to 4 or 5 back...but, faltered down the stretch...hey, does Webb STILL anchor his putter?...the golf law that banned that?...he locks on to his elbow, in lieu of the tummy or cheek...as before the law came out...doesn't that bring in another body part?...thought it was to be hands only?...as my fellow golfing buddy, says 'that I am wrong 95% of the time, when it comes to rules'...

The mighty Pads came back and got the series tied...with the Cards...I am reading that this is the turnaround time for SD...ah hem, why now?...OK, I will try to buy this...but...really?...how long does it take an oblique muscle to heal?...a month, or two?...questioning yet another injury of our all star, Wil Myers...some of our injuries are rumored to be due to too many and too long of batting practice sessions...what?...poor babies...

American Idol is down to 3...for the finals next week...totally done by mysterious voting patterns, that are NEVER shared to the public...'just believe us'...anyhoo, the most talented in the bunch, the rocker, DID not get in the 3...weird...I think the best left is the Gabby gal...but, USUALLY the southern guitar picker guy wins...who knows?...oh yea, Carrie performed and was magnificent...don't you think?...

Our fine Supreme Court...just abolished the 'Anti-sports betting law'...there you go...the states of the US will be scrambling to get their own version of sports  betting going...$$$...is this a good thang?...'I am putting $20 on the Oregon Ducks versus the Cougs'...will be the norm...

So disturbing is what is going in Atlanta...hangings...are these suicides?...or...well, there is fear in the area...a woman was found hung, outside of a Walmart store last night there...a man last week, found hung in a park...hmmm...stay close to this issue...

Maybe this is more morose than muddy...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
