What the (Part II)...
The two elite, from the PNW...Washington and WSU...got their tails handed to them...the Cougs in a stomp at Cal, and the surprise of surprises, the Dawgs losing at 'Zona...go figure...Utah went for the entire shebang, when they went for a 2 point conversion to beat USC...and didn't get it and lost...egads...UCLA got thumped at ASU...Mora may be coach number 2 handed his walking papers in this league...the OSU coach was the first, and his remaining troop, nearly got a huge upset over Colorado...didn't though...and there was the Ducks...
Oh my...I had been touting that this just may be a defining moment for the new regime...it was...the lack of innovation on the offensive front...which Duckie faithful have been spoiled with...for the last two coaches...was not there...in fact, lessened to a total running attack (?)...afraid to attempt to throw the ball...let's see...against the best coached team in the Pac 12 in Stanford...who loaded up the box and had a free for all...49-7...yup, you read that right...still, I will give this Coach Taggart a pass...even though he didn't use it...ha ha...call me one of them dudes, who is squarely...on the fence...and like a bird on a wire...watching...
And...my other team...the Aztecs...got whupped at home...the hype?...gone...listen, to get notoriety, you must beat the Mountain West team that the rest of the country knows...Boise St...yup...but the entire state of Boise came into the Q and completely dominated SDSU...both lines ate up the Aztecs...as much as I have been touting this O line, it was whupped...this was no fluke...a solid Bronco win...back to the drawing board, and very little, recognition for the home team...dang...POOF!...
Ohio St went into Nebraska...should I even finish this?...and absolutely pulverized Mike Riley's Cornhuskers...well, it may not be his for very long...word out is that he may be out as soon as Monday...he is a nice guy...so it is said...
Lots of hoopla about the Raider/Charger game being moved due to the NoCal fires and their affect on air quality...nope...staying in Oakland...our mayor had even reached out to offer the Q as a replacement park, just in case...to play the game...imagine if that foo owner, Spanos, had shown his face around here...not a welcome bloke...well, anywhere...a blistering commentary in the latest Sports Illustrated about him and his attempt to move the Chargers to LaLa...where they don't want them or him...grab a clue, dude...
Beisbol...let's see...da Cubbies mgr goes off on a 'catcher blockage' at home plate...hmmm...MLB has changed the rule to prevent carnage on the play...Joe just doesn't like it...thinking back to when there was an incident with them and the Pads...and Rizzo plowed into our catcher...he thought it was a good baseball play...when he has the defensive side...he still thinks it's the same...block it and let's get it on...anyway, the Bums prevailed and lead it after game one...what an awesome win by the Astros!...terrific complete game by Justin Verlander...like 120 pitches worth...and two dudes combating and beating the best reliever in the biz, Aroldis Chapman...oh yea, BTW, if the 2B of Houston, Jose Altuve, doesn't win MVP...it is a sham...
It's official...all the KFam is preggers...all of 'em...count it up...all of 'em...wait, well, maybe some may be surrogated...or whatever...this is news?...
We did the Trolley Tour yesterday with the kids...this is the 2nd time for us...and it is a gem...what I don't know about this area...they inform you ....thinking about how many of the planes used in the 2nd World War were constructed here...amazing...I have seen these buildings forever here...I had no idea...there also is an area in Mission Hills, that the dude, on the cooking channel...Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives guy, er Guy Frieri...he recommended 5 of those eateries...we have never gone to 'em...on our agenda, now...
Finally for the day...it is me birthday...for you who wish me HB!...thanks immensely....but, this number does draw me some disdain...nuttin I can do about it...ha ha...I was asked last night, what I can say about all my years...that it took forever to get to 21...and the rest is a blur...now, if I could just shoot my age....
