National Sunglasses Day

Morning ya'll...we are back!...have to say, we had a fantastic time in Vegas...met up with 3 couples there...and what happens in...well, you know the drill...ha ha...today be the National Sunglasses Day...of course, the Horse, got a new pair...(?, why is it a pair?)...of 'em...this obvious selfie that I am throwing at ya, is them...or it...you know, in my next life, I'm gonna design some...call them Horse...and charge ridiculous prices, like Tom Ford (?) does...ha ha..."is that a Horse you are wearing?"...

114* is a bit much...'but a dry heat'...whatever that means...our salvation was 3 things...the glorious pool at the Mirage, that we took in every single day....the air conditioned room and casino...and the Uber/Lyft that we used to go ANYWHERE, for a much less price than a cabbie...it's true...

BTW, LV has got a new arena...the T Mobile...for their new NHL Hockey team...hmmm, you seeing a trend?...like so similar to Nashville...that is where we saw Queen and Adam Lambert in the Freddie Mercury role...fun night, for sure...anyhoo, it is right behind New York, New York...for your next trip there and if you are going to an event or concert, have your Uber drop you off at the Monte Carlo, right across the walk way...saves you mega steps...in the dry heat...and please, wear tennies...I just had flip flops...a NO NO...

Beisbol...geez, da Beavs went into the CWS as the favs...but listen kids, you lose your top pitcher...your chances fall off the charts...as they did...too bad, as they had the rest of the package...the Pads are still ahead of SF for the escape of the basement...the Bums are on a wrecking tour of the league...with young kids, to boot...Adrian who?...

Golf...near impossible to hold off everyone in a golf T for all 4 rounds...Jordan Spieth was trying to do it...ended up in a tie and OT...where he hit a miraculous drano bunker shot to win...he's done that before...his celebratory toss of the club and chest bump with his caddie was fun...show some emotion, kids...it's good for ya...the golfing world wants a new hero...now that Tiger and Lefty have officially, faded...

The Netflix series...'House of Cards'...we saw 4 episodes last eve...man, this is just so well done...shhh, don't tell me what happens...along with CBS's 'Madam Secretary', my two top shows...way ahead of number 3...

Tennis...hmmm...the veteran John McEnroe...popped off...'surprise surprise surprise', to quote Gomer Pyle...threw shade on the very dominating lady in tennis, Serena Williams...that she's be like number 720 or so, on the men's tour...give me a break...she'd kick your arse, JMac...and, probably IN your prime...

You can relax again...Bachelor in Paradise is back up and running...after the 'too hot for TV' beginning...it set more rules for the contestants...now, I feel better...

NBA awards...the individual ones...MSP, the most selfish went to Russ Westbrook....easily, I'd think...can't imagine one more selfish...and the coach went to the much travelled dude at Houston...Mike D...geez, you'd think it would have to go to the champ's...maybe it should be really called, the most improved coach...ha ha...

Well now, put on your shades and get out and enjoy the glorious sun....as long as it's not 100*+, right?...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
