Monday Decaf

Top of the morning to ya"ll...for some reason, I awoke in a great mood...maybe cuz that bloody Comic-Con is over, and we can have our city back...peace has been restored!...there are many celebrations and the like here...you can't imagine how quickly they pack up and go...and you'd never know that they were based in the GQ...this one, however, I think that there are still signs remaining...

Our Padres won the series in DC...what?...terrific scoring in the last two innings and voila!...weird...as we have been depleted of most of our pitching...however, we do have kids who put the bat on the ball...which we have NEVER had here in the 10 seasons prior...and get this...we are shopping big time, OF Upton, C Norris, and P Cashner...this lineup will change... the youngins will be brought up...hang on to your caps, kids...

Hey Philly, we are calling your name!...what are you going to do with the DNC?...is this going to be a tame convention?...are the streets going to be calm?...will the resignation of the DNC Chair, Ms Wasserman, suffice in the awful email condemnation of Bernie?...will Hillary get the bump that the Donald got after the RNC?...questions questions questions...the trump card (tee hee) is the pretty people lining up to endorse Ms Clinton....there you go...

Another mass killing in Florida...at a teen party...weekly, if not a daily, tale of horror...when will this ever end?...I will not stop bringing this up, until it does indeed...STOP!...

The USA Hoop Team...played another vs China...wowser, talk about a mismatch...and I thought that the US didn't play that well...it is cool to see how hard the kids play D in Coach K's system...odd, that the effort is NOT the same when these same dudes play in the NBA...right?...

LPGA...talk about lost in the headlines of other things...the US team of 4 gals won the match of 8 countries...after an awful 1st day...Pillar, Kerr, Lewis, and Thompson were the team mates...well done, red white and blue!...

Big Brother...I didn't see last night's show...shhh...my pick, just might be put on the block...Frank...I fear this...and M would pull into the lead...doesn't seem right...she must have seen Reality Steve's pick already...wait, this is in the here and now...not like the Bachelorette...

We have fog...what?...still warm...but fog...actually a perfect weather screen to play at golf...which I am doing in the am tomorrow...and the plan is to push my clubs...egads...

I have to say this...I love Vegas...we never get to do all the things we want...more reason to return...the Mirage is a wonderful nesting spot...great pool...and loads of eating establishments...hmmm...when is our next time?...

Del Mar...we are a coming...this Wednesday...with the Maduzas...going by the Coaster (train)...lots of studying to do...I plan on hitting the Pick 5...isn't it about this time of the year, that I cashed it last season?...I think so...time for history to repeat itself...

Finally...remember this...a bit back...the NBA Commissioner negated a trade to send PG Chris Paul to the Lake Show...made them too strong...my how times have changed...PF Kevin Durant signs with the GS Warriors...and he does nothing about it...hmmm...talk about stronger...
