Sunshine Saturday

We are finally awakening to...SUNSHINE!...we have had countless days of cloudy am's...and loads of humidity...which is so bizarre...up and down SoCal...I say hurray...and now to the stuff...

More info out on the killer from Loosiana...he had planned his getaway...wigs and masks and all...and had a history of being a very bad guy...and he followed an unwritten pattern of taking others with him in self destruction...so sad...why in a movie house?...don't get it...

The Pads hit 3 dingers and got the W in game 2 of the series with the Marlins...who by the way, are missing their two best blokes to injuries...however...another inept set of base running blunders made us all feel uneasy...no outs, runners on 2nd and 3rd...infield in...a slow dribbler to SS...the rule thereof...run on a grounder hit that way...nope, not us...and the bloke on 2nd did...another no no...he does whatever the guy ahead of him does...he is tagged out...stop, I could go on...anyway, it should have been a stomp...BTW, 2B Gyorko made a splendid play to just get the speedy (at least he used to be) Ichiro at first, to end the game...

Talking about a pro golfing dude, named Allenby...he's the guy that had such a crazy incident in Hawaii...missed the cut...went on a bender...got beat up by some bad guys who stole from him and left him in a park...all this at the beginning of the season...and nobody really believed it...the rumor is...he is a difficult guy to be around...and has fired at least 4 caddies that carry his clubs...and in this week's T, he fired his latest ON THE COURSE!...Robert (his given name) said the caddie threatened to beat him up...what?...here's the solution...carry your own sticks, dude...

We were roaming the isles of the Home Depot...and got the itch to look at kitchen stuff...like new countertops...and came up with a lot of ideas...I've always disliked the ones we have...most everyone in our condo has 'em...and after listening to the sales guy, are leaning towards the replacement of them...it's not an easy task...and surprisingly, not that spendy...stay tuned...

Lord, I haven't hit the links for some time now...and have the Reunion T next week...have to get out and practice....what?...yes, practice...to paraphrase Allen Iverson...practice?...

Colin Cowherd...remember him?...for you PNWers, he was the sports guy for Channel 8, I think...Portland, Orygun...moved on up...got his own gig with ESPN...a radio talkie and a TV spot doing his talk show...really...and like so many other shock jocks...went over the line...this time calling out the Dominicans...foot in mouth about the stupidity of all of them...major foopah....he was referring to the baseball world...about managing the game...long story short...he got the boot from the network...hey dude, apologize...and get your job back...

OK, I have to get to this...the Donald...relied on his bullying tactics to deal with a reporter who had the audacity to ask him about some of his latest remarks about illegal aliens...it was another example of his odious way of coping...you have to watch the clip of him going off...

Time for some real smut...there is a hot rumor about somebody being pregnant...what?...in the Blake/Miranda aftermath...and are we talking her?...or...well, stay tuned...the hits keep right on a coming in this he done it she done it affair...can't make this stuff up...

We are heading out to Del Mar for the Sunday's races...got a table at the park...it's way cool..the Mackles this time...and we are taking the train there...I think the train tix, includes admission...have to check  it out this am...BTW, the P5 was hit for $10 grand, and the P6 for $209 grand...what?...oh my...the money is there if you can just pick 'em right...

Finally, we went to a restaurant called Soliel K for breakfast...and we were treated like royalty...food was splendid...coffee on the table in a thermal carafe...and was refilled twice...they called us by our names...and when we left, they gave us Starbucks Coffee to go...worth the $, kids...

And NOW, I'm hungry...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed...
