4 Years Later

So, how was your 4th?....full of festivities?...and fireworks?...ours was pretty decent...after playing golf in the earlier part of the day...rested up until a couple of parties...the surprise was the Pinnacle one...had a live band, that was quite good...that got the entire set of 3 high rises in the mood...and then walked down to another...that had the great view of the fireworks...way cool...

The World Cup for the ladies is today...USA versus the team that they got beat by in the last Cup, Japan...but it's 4 YEARS LATER....and the red, white, and blue's turn...so says me...the 3rd place match was yesterday....and the Brits won it over Germany...geez, these gals play with a lot of passion and aggression...

The Pads lost another low scoring affair...after getting the 1st two at Saint Looey, a huge error by our SS paved the way to the loss...simple method of play by the Cards to get the W...get on by the error...steal a base...hit a grounder to the right side to move him to 3rd...and a pop fly to right...game 4 today...dreaming, I'm always dreaming...for a win...Johnny Burnette...

For all of the warnings of terrorism for the 4th...well, you have to go on...and we did...and I did not see any effects thereof...maybe behind the scenes?...I dunno...

LA...not that LA, but LaMarcus Aldridge...is going to San Antonio...hmmm...he is in for a huge shock!...give Pop about a week to get into his head about the defensive side of things...not so fast my friends, if you think that this pick up is going to be a game changer...they are already good...I can just see when LA doesn't hedge the screen...Pop will go ballistic!...ha ha...

And in the aftermath...the PDX team is in shambles...have lost the aforementioned LA...their starting C Lopez (to the Knicks), SF Mathews, traded away SG Batum...and they fired the coach who had the audacity to say that Portland had lost LA...think they won't stink?...I can smell them already...I'm going on record to say that this is the worst management in the history of the franchise...

Totally unrelated, but there was another shark attack...and we are slow to learn to stay out of the ocean, right now....

I hit the ball pretty decent yesterday...putted like a foo....and had a so so 85...geez, I forgot to post...will do so...should have been in the 70's...really....still won the $...yes...

Tell me why there are so many people thinking they have what it takes to be the Prez?...I'm at a loss...

Why do some people think that they have to debate every single issue on Facebook?...not naming names, but there are people who post every day...about this, that, and whatever...c'mon, tone it down...

For you horse players...like analysts...Tonalist got beat as a 2-5 fav at Belmont...hmmm...for 99.9% of you out there, you have no idea what I just wrote about...it's just a tease for the upcoming Del Mar meet....11 days to go...

Hey now...it's what I do... I'll go out to the races a couple of times a week...and one might call that an addiction...ha ha...maybe so...but it's a game...every 30 minutes another puzzle to figure out...as long as it doesn't cost you too much....
