Paris

I am leading with the tragedy...in Paris...started with a song by the Fleetwoods...kind of tie in all that is part of today...and when I Googled the image of tragedy...up popped the Kardashians...what?...seriously...here we go...

Tragedy in Paris, France...as Al Quida attacked and killed workers at a magazine company there...one which made mockery of all things, i.e. that attack group...a satirical periodical...something like 12 in all were brutally murdered...and the shooters, were videoed and...worse...got away...let's hope the French Police get 'em...sad part of humanity...

Totally different thing...we have a service that we pay for...to protect us (like insurance) on our condos and rentals...a "home shield"...problem is...that many of those companies that are part of the service part of it, are unable to deal with the issues of a high rise...and this is what we are having to cope with as our heating unit is on the fritz...

The headline in the Trib's sport page today..."Shepard Gets Aztecs Going"...ah ha...obviously not one of us...actually the star of SDSU's hoop team is Winston Shepard the 3rd...a legit candidate for the next level...as the Aztecs beat New Mexico...a BIG win...and Shepard was the difference...

As the upcoming Champ Game gets closer...the line is relatively close...Ducks by 7...seems to be steady...and the word out...wear yellow to the game...well...that's Duckee fans...and get this...not a bit of green in the uniforms for UO in the fray...who chooses what they wear?...

OK...I told you I was going to give you my take on the next show...Celebrity Apprentice...they are showing 2 episodes back to back...I'm not a fan of the Donald...his ego is bigger than his cabeza...the ladies have some real lulus...and a shocking look at Geraldo Rivera...and it's not a good one...you know, if you just deliver the news...your real being is never shown...but if you are part of the news, it's out there...finally...what on earth are these companies that are being featured?...whoa...tonight is Idol...

The battle for LA is tonight...the Lake Show and the Clip Joint...hmmm...who is the home team?...think the Lakers are playing better, and the Clippers are playing worse...so, it could be close...as long as Kobe is out...otherwise, its the red and blue to the victor...I bet you don't care...

We went on a bike ride yesterday...all around the bay...so beautiful and absolutely perfect weather...
sometimes, we forget what surrounds us...and need to get out and enjoy...what's here...
