Stoopendous

I stayed up to midnight watching the final round of the LPGA thinger in Singapore...you see, the gals play all over the world for their tour...and it was another W for veteran Karrie Webb...who has found a youth pill lately...or so it seemed...as she stumbled a bit...and let some others get back into the fray...one being in a group just ahead of her...none other than America's dahling, Paula Creamer...who was putting lights out...and closed the gap...in fact, tied her...

OK, I am going to say this in a nice way...the pace of play by the final group was horrendous...wait, that's not nice...they made the senior PGA turtle, the German, seem like a rabbit...geez, they were 2 holes behind...in that group was a sweet swinger from Spain, Azahara Munoz...who just may be the culprit of the pace problem...she was involved in a similar thing a year or two back...remember?...when Morgan Pressel was penalized for Munoz's delaying tactics...

OK...Munoz kept closing too...and voila...on the 18th hole there are 3 gals tied at the top...at 10 under...Creamer is in...and the other two slugs are trying to get to -11 and win it...Webb continued the free fall...bogeyed...and fell out...and Munoz parred and entered a playoff with PC...

This tournament was going to be culminated on the 18th hole...only...they were going to repeat it until there was a winner...

Both gals parred the 1st OT on close missed birdie tries...and then...after Munoz laid up...Paula went for the green on the par 5 in two...accomplished the feat...Azahara stiffed a wedge...and Creamer was set to putt a 60 footer for eagle...

The announcers said she was hitting a prayer...just to get it close...and as you see...she canned it!...it's been 4 years since she has won...lordy, she is but 27...just got engaged...and is...well...on top of the world...this...was way cool!...
