TROUBLE

Monster word, huh...you are in TROUBLE, mister...the TROUBLE with that is...double TROUBLE...you get my drift...this time it applies to the Brooklyn Nets...formerly known as, the New Jersey Nets...moved the franchise...and got themselves a gunslinging owner...well, he throws his $ around...from Russia...really!...anyway...they hired a rookie coach...who had never done that job anywhere....ANYWHERE!...believe me, it is an acquired trait...one thing is to play, it is a totally different thing pulling the strings...Jason Kidd...and he is floundering...yes, he has had a bunch of injuries...and they went out and got some veterans to make them a solid contender...RIGHT NOW...but these blokes are old and brittle...and the team is losing...like lots...and now even worse stuff...he fired, er reassigned, his right hand man, Lawrence Franks...difference of opinions...Franks had been an NBA Head Coach, twice...read between the lines, kids...yup, TROUBLE in Brooklyn...

You heard of these things called Google Glasses?...it appears that one gal got a ticket from a police officer...for wearing them while driving...here in SD...my Q is, how on earth did he pick that out?...she is in big TROUBLE!...

Hey, I get why the player would sign for 7 years...and he is going to the hated rival NY Yankees, from the Bosox...but why would the franchise pay that type of $ for that long a contract?...CF Jacoby Ellsbury...by the way, a Native American...because they spend $ like that...what salary cap?...doesn't apply to the Yanks or Bums...

The Padres...the GM Byrnes said he was going to improve the bullpen...and get a lefty hitter...well, he did it with one swift trade....to Oakland...picked up OF Seth Smith for setup guy, Luke Gregerson...who CH thinks is way past his prime...and that's being nice...

The Blazers host the Thunder (Supersonics) tonight...and are favored by 1...what, one?...make it a toss up...wasn't that long ago that the Seattle/PDX game was THE RIVALRY...until the new OKC owners pulled the plug and moved the franchise...
