The Best in the Biz

Even when he doesn't have his best stuff...he is the BEST IN THE BIZ!...I'm talking about Clayton Kershaw, ace lefty of them Bums...as he threw like 120 pitches in his big W at Atlanta...ie, the old Pad himself, AGonz, belting a two run dinger...CK finished the reg season with an ERA of less than 2.00...nobody does it better, kids...is it just me, but don't the "Braves" look like they are in disarray?...more beisbol...the Reds get eliminated and then fire their manager, Dusty Baker...boo...he's a good one...St Louis ran all over the feel good Pirates...now, the rest of the teams, go...like the Tigers...Red Sox...A's...who am I leaving off?...

Wild couple of football games last night...UCLA escaping the cold and Utah...had 6 picks...what?...the Utah QB kept throwing too hard in that weather...went right through his receiver's hands...they are both decent teams...maybe the Bruins are even better than that...and Texas narrowly getting the W at Iowa St....brutally called game...isn't this a trend?...and the ISU went off on the officials after the game...can't do that...even though you want to, bad...and...I thought it was awfully called on the tube, too...horrible commentary...how do I really feel?...

What on earth was the DC gal up to?...I mean it cost her, her life...the ramming of the cop's car...outside of the White House...wow...and the other issue...the protection by the police...were off duty and UNPAID... were part of the Repub's shut down...did it on the pride of the job...and security of the nation...

I like the cooler weather...low 70's and all...it's going to be interrupted by 80+ stuff this weekend...final push of this type, the weather people say...by the way, most of our weatherman are ladies...on the tube...and they wear less and less...and tighter and tighter...odd...not that the males are complaining...maybe the females, too..."Straight as an Arrow"...Kacey Musgraves...if that's what you're into...ha ha...for those who have heard this, you KNOW what I mean...

You may not get this...the NFL channel...that is the only station carrying the Thursday nite game...as it was out of Cleveland...where the Browns beat the Bills...and are in 1st in their division...Norv...he is getting 'er done...as the O coordinator...must be better at that...he was turrible as the head boss...both of those teams lost their QBs to injuries...funny, as Norv, didn't call a run, first play, every series...like he always did here...???...

Colorado is supposed to be getting some weather...Duckees, are you ready?...wait...of course...they just got through playing in the mess at Autzen...the line is 39...away...think that is too many...take the points, kids...

Prez Cup (Boehner's Cup)...really fun stuff...with the US having a slight lead after day one...there are a couple of blokes on the "world" team, that I have never, ever, heard of...oh my, Lefty, was turrible...dumping many shots in the agua...and leaving his partner, wild eyed Keegan Bradley, to fend himself...Tiger and Kooch were tough...and won like 5-4...

Now, have to find that golf on the tube...somewhere....

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
