NFL...the Bolts rested...and the bigs kept going...KC, GBay, and Denver won...and how about the Detroit win over the Boyz...I tell you, pressure up Romo, and he folds like no one else...tonight, the Seahawks are at the Rams...a lot of pundits have Seattle as the best in the league...let's just see about that...this eve...the prob?...Saint Looey is without their QB...eegads...a stomp...by the way, that town has a baseball and a football going on at the same time....is there that many fans there?...I mean c'mon...

This upcoming weekend is the Breeder's Cup...if you watch them hosses at all, this is the time....the best in the biz go at it...at Santa Anita...by the way, Del Mar is doing major renovation for their bid to get an upcoming one of them...expanding the turf course...cool...reminder, next year, the track will host racing twice...in lieu of the solo shot they have had forever...very cool...

Golf world....some of them normals won...Ryan Moore (UNLV), Kenny Perry, and Suzanne Petterson...really like the KP one, as he beat Langer in OT...slowest player in the whole, entire world...hip hip...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
