Freedom

OK, this was the last day prior to school starting...a 9 month ordeal that I actually enjoyed...believe it or not!...it was fresh, fun, and exciting...Labor Day...and I tried to always go to the horse races...out at the state fair...to relax for the last time for awhile...obviously, lots of changes...but...I am still heading out to the races...but, in Del Mar...load up my DRF PP's...going to meet our friends the Allens out there...and have a grand time...and hope to win some $...ah, this is the life...last day of freedom....

Big Brother...without a doubt, the worst cast of characters that the show has ever had...a bunch of bums...and some real nasty peoples...bad actors...and NOBODY deserves the $...but, alas, we watch...and stomach what is there...not even sure why...

Syria...good lord, are they unbelievable?...mocking the US for backing off...what?...it's the straw...I figure that Congress will GIVE the Prez the go ahead...there is a coalition of Middle East Countries condemning Syria...which means what?...what a mess...to be succinct...

PGA...Sergio is hanging tough!...what?...leading the T by two going into the final round today...where are Tiger and Lefty?...way down the list...I get confused at what this means...as there is a number of where they are...that affects the last T of the tourney..coming up in another 2 weeks, somewhere in the Chicago area...

LPGA...the studette Suzann Peterson won in PDX...did you go?...you PNW'ers?...she is the best golfer they have...

Bad news...Tebow cleared waivers...nobody picked him up and he is now with complete freedom...

The Pads...another sad case of no O...pitching was strong...lose another 2-1 game...and show zero offensive ability...we even start the worst hitter in all of baseball, Kotsay...time to change the entire mood of this pathetic team...good lord, bring up some rookies and let them play...it can not be worse than the product that is our there...and in come the Giants...to battle for the bottom...boooooo....

I can't believe you Beaver Believers didn't roast me...after my scathing review of the OSU debacle...had someone actually say that the offense was solid...what?...it was EW they played...hang in there, it was but one game...make some adjustments and you will be fine...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
