With a bang?...the player named in the PEDS case from Florida...from the Pads...Everth Cabrera...I have given you the poop on this for some time....and he had a huge game last eve in the 1st game with the Yankees...4 hits and the one out he made, was hit so hard...it banged off the pitcher's leg...caromed off to the 3rd baseman...and was thrown out...oh yea, the Pads won easily...7-2...3 dingers by Forsythe, Gyorko (yes!) and Venable...strong pitching by Cashner and the pen...big win...sold out crowd...did not know that this was the 1st time that NY has been at Petco...and Cabrera may be shut down on Monday for the rest of the season...the game today is at 5:30...

The British Open...it is so windy there that they have to delay it for the 3rd round...Morgan is 2 strokes back...and we are waiting for the round to start...Paula, is close, too...Inbee?...probably too far back...

Tiger!...oh my...at Firestone in Ohio...where he has great success....well, I guess so...he started fast...and was flirting with a 59!...imagine...so I watched it...and he had a great shot at it...and finished with a 61...oh dang...unbelievable...and now is 7 strokes up on the field....they expect bad weather and will go out in 3somes...yup, I'll follow it...

Del Mar....like I said, I thought there would be a double carryover in the Pick 6...and there is...where Chantel won the 1st leg at a whopping $73 on the win tix...boom, most everyone was out...there have been plenty of long shots rolling in...I think the favs are at 24%, or even lower...

Mayor Filner is the butt of all jokes all over the tube...and he doesn't get it...apparently...will not step down...

Good morning all, from the great state of Oregon...this whole trip is about FRIENDS!...meeting up with peops we have been with over our years in the PNW...and for Boss's reunion....the opening act was a combo party of the two at this pad, a bar, called Johnny's...simply said, it was fun... The stories were there, the faces remained the same...and it tickled moi, that so many FRIENDS showed up...unfortunately, I did not get enough time to talk to all, please forgive me...when you go back some 60 years, my memory does fade a tad...well, and so does their's...ha ha...believe me, it was worth the trip... Boss was one of the belles of the ball...yes, she still looks great...you know that....well, the rest of her class did not know that, until last eve...she was flitting (flirting) about so...which made me smile...and that is only the beginning of it...the REAL reunion is tonight...one of my FRIENDS reminded me that is the gals reunion...which I think is most reunions...it is for...

President Barack Obama...and then there is more..... see...Michelle Obama ...these two have the fundamental prowess of giving speeches...at the right time...at the right place... No better example of this, than last night at the DNC...each were marvelous...of course ...it's what people, special people, like these two...do...carry a message across the Nation...that we all can not only understand, but agree with... For seemingly years, the Horse has said...that if Michelle O wanted to be in the White House, AGAIN...this time as the President, and not the wife...she could ...however, for right now...she is supporting the right choice...for this time of the history of our country....
