The awaited suspensions of the PEDS guys is upon us...and for some reason, ARod is going to fight his punishment...and can continue to play...play?...hey, I am saying that this thing needs to go to court....and it may...however, the Pads SS Everth Cabrera, was named...and apparently will go on a 50 game hiatus...haven't heard otherwise...and so it goes...er, starts...

The Johnny Football saga continues...he is now accused of signing autographs for $...eegads...it appears that this guy thinks he is above the D-1 Laws...and the practice times are to begin today...there's too much for him to handle and this will not go down, easily...I can see a 3 or 4 game suspension...but...does he get it?...I doubt it...I think he'll figure that this is his last season in college...maybe...something is just not right...

The Pads are basking in the glory of their series win over the Yankees...and now get ready for Baltimore...and their home run hitting crew...should be another big test...and...who are we to put at SS?...figure it may be Forsythe...stop gap for the rest of the season...too bad...clean up the game...

Tiger was extraordinary over the 4 days at Firestone...his 8th win there...really?..."suits his eye"...I guess...and now the tour heads over to Rochester, NY...for the PGA...hit it straight guys...and putt the lights out...and then you win...ha ha...that's all...

The Bachelorette winds down tonight...the Brooks deal was too much to watch...and I say they finally get together...it will be an ugly, drawn out thinger...and I just lost interest...

Another carryover in the Pick 6....happens every Sunday at Del Mar...dang, and it was hittable...not me...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
