The Open (Over There)

If you are a golf junkie, then you are going to lurve the ESPN Channel...as they have been showing the British Open since about 1:30 am...really...and I turned it on about at 6ish....and witnessed the closing of Lefty's and Zach's round...both under par...and Zach Johnson is the early leader...at 5 under...Mickleson bogied the last...for a 2 under...and then talked about the set up of the course...not too happy...it's a different way of looking at the game...bounce most all shots up...Tiger?...started brutally...hooked a 3 wood so far off line that he had a drop to keep, er get, his round going...

ESPY's...not a fan of most award shows...as you know...and I tried to watch some of it last night...nope...the interview of LeBron James...eegads...him declaring himself a superstar and all...just maybe these guys need more time in school...think before you talk...

Johnny Heisman...put a mike in front of him and you get something similar to LeBron...and he had to justify why he got booted from the Manning QB Camp...well...it was a disaster...I think it's a bad idea having those guys interviewed...yet, in Manziel's case...he brings it on...I think he is going to get a rude awakening this season...the SEC has players that will lay a lick on him...right now, he is not a pro prospect...

No movement in the trade area for the Pads...so we play on with what we got...rumor has it that the Yankees called on for the availability of 3B Headley...turned away...why?...looking at the other side...if...Luebke can come back...that will help immensely...still, we have a huge hole at catcher...and we need some form of closers in the worst way...

Awesome start for Del Mar...especially for the world's best jockey, Joel Rosario...who won 4 times...as he is here for a brief time before he gets back to the other coast...and runs at Saratoga...a place I have never been...supposedly a wonderful place...and I hit 8 of 10 races...just my luck...no bets...OK, it's a start...and I may try to go today...unfortunately, both M and I are under the weather, still...maybe I should try a TVG account...not sure how that goes...kind of scared to start up something like that...it's better to get in and get out...you know what I mean?...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
