The Belmont

My good friend Andy had the Belmont...and it was the hoss I had for the Derby, er, my longshot...Palace Malice...here's the deal...how can one trainer have 5 horses in a race and not couple them?...seems a bit much...and, as usual, I am all around the winner...but not cashing in...such is the life of a handicapper...er, hack at racing forms...

Seems like if you say something off the wall, it comes back to bite you...the Pads were on the national baseball broadcast last eve...and, of course, the announcers brought back up the classless comments of turrible C Nick Hundley about his fellow Pad, and catcher, Yasmani Grandal...who has spent his time off for roids...the game...SD won!...as the fellow that they were trying like the dickens to drop to AAA, hit yet another HR...Kyle Blanks...eegads, what am I missing here?...what do I see that the management doesn't?...we have a formidable 4-5-6...in Quentin, Gyorko, and BLANKS...the last game of the series today is a nooner...by the way, another great pitching job by Eric Stults...

Must win for the Heat?...yup...and they have a heckuva track record after losing a first game...like 10-0 or something like that...and ABC would lurve a Miami win...sure...so if I were a betting man...I'd take LeBron and the boyz for this one...by the way, is there anyone out there talking about how the long layoff was going to hurt San Antonio anymore?...ha ha...you give Pop a few more days and it just adds to his arsenal...

I switched back to my Cobra Irons...in lieu of the Pings....here's the deal...they are more forgiving...as my mishits are not as blocky...whatever that means...and they feel a bit better in my hands...now, If I could only putt...5 over for the front, with 3 3 putts...only played nine...had to get out to the casino to bet the Belmont...and get this...I packed my bag...what a stud...and am paying for it now...real sore...

I just can't get into the following...hockey, car racing (?), and tennis...what gives?...maybe if you go live to it...but on the tube?...please, Maria, stop that incessant yelping...

We watched the DVD of the 50 year reunion of the Beach Boys last eve...and then followed it back up with the Boys in England back in 1980...all of them were there...Dennis and Carl...Dennis appeared wasted...still it was way cool...Mike's version of them were at the Del Mar Fair las night...I was too drained to go...

And you have Fun, Fun, Fun, this Sunday morning....

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
